Use any random generating function. In JS, there are lots of inbuild funtions. use anyone and you will be good to go.

I tried with the above code: const jobSearch = [{jobtype:"IT sectors ", role:"Frontend developet"}, {jobtype:"IT sectors", role:"Backend"}, {jobtype:"Non-IT sectors", role:"Accounts Executive"}]; let SearchResult = jobSearch.filter(function (value) { return value.jobtype == "IT sectors"; }); And it worked perfectly. Please check your type mistake.
