Tbh I think it's nuts that the Egg has an animated back sprite even though you're never supposed to send it in battle. Good gauntlet Absol, I should try this out sometime

You can trick the game by showing it's back sprite outside of battle too! Steps (I used the USA version): Have 2 Pokemon on the team, 3rd slot must have the egg, Turn around the first two pokemon, put first slot Pokemon in pc, check your only pokemon in your team (it still should be turned around), press down and bam! Egg turned around! The egg will stay like this until you do the reverse of these steps!

I imagine after creating a list of all "pokemon" (things that can exist in your party) the programmers probably just sent that list to the animators to create said animations without giving it a once through. That, or it could be based on the menu screen when checking a Pokemon's status, though I'm not really experienced on Gen 5 at all lmao

I mean, the manaphy egg is also fully animated, even tho that one is just a compatibility-leftover from Gen 4. They simply said "screw it, everything gets done!"

Do this glitch with Exeggute, then find a way to give it a Lucky Egg. That way you’ll have 6 eggs in an egg holding an egg.

Always love to see another Lv. 100 Gauntlet come out! Last night while playing Pokemon Sun, I actually thought of a potential Gauntlet idea: Lv. 100 off of only the Battle Buffet. The subject of the Gauntlet could be Munchlax (because it and Snorlax are known to eat a lot) or a Rattata named Remy (because the wide variety of fancy-sounding dishes made me think of Ratatouille)

this was one of my favorite level 100 gauntlet so far. every time you make one I think "there can't possibly be another strange or unconventional way to raise a pokemons level" but you surprise and don't let down every time!

Watching this video reminded me how much I love this game. It was my first pokemon game, its the game that made me fall in love with the series. The game was hard as a 5 year old, but the music and pokemon brought me in. The show for black and white also brought me in with how they gave the pokemon even more emotion.
