We cling on to people who don't want to be with us or who mistreat us when we are looking for compensation for what we lack inside. When I began to love myself it was because I did the work. Do the work, look up info online and take a step at a time. Be kind and patient to yourself. Never say anything of yourself that you do not wish to be true. I played this last night when I woke up randomly and it instantly put me back to sleep. I never dream but I did while this was playing and it was of my grandpa who had passed years ago standing with a St. Bernard. I was able to hug him before the dream ended, it felt surreal. He was one of the only people to show me unconditional love when I was growing up and it felt so good to be able to hug him even if it was only in a dream. I woke up with tears and an overwhelming feeling of love and protection. I am so grateful to be able to see his face again.

I've been listening to videos like this one for over a year and guess what? I met someone capable of giving and receiving love, affection, and admiration! After years of chasing emotionally unavailable people, I've gotten to the root of all that and have cut off the negative patterns and this guy just appeared in my life. So grateful. I believe the same thing. I’m not trying to get back to my ex. But, he has trauma from pass relationship. I wish him to heal. I am sorry to myself, for being so scared of being hurt by love again, that I put myself in relationships with other damaged people so that they were doomed to fail to protect myself... Not realising the damage I was doing to my soul with each failed attempt to heal someone with my love .
