Hi David. As a Mainer I want to point out a couple of tips that might help you in the future with Maine seafood. The clams you ate are called Steamers. The Sand that you tasted is because you didn’t take the cap off. It is like a gray/black hood of the black part of the clam. Once cleaned , try them in melted butter. On the lobster we always remove the “poop shoot”. Peel back the top of the lobster tail and remove the black string. It will all come out as one piece of you start from the top. I really enjoy your videos and “meeting” your family.

🤯🤯….. so me and my fiancé were in stuck on a 7 hour lay over in Orlando last week and she LOVES crab legs ….. had I known this place was there we would have Ubered instead of me spending over 100 dollars on crappy airport food 🤦‍♂️

We went about a month ago for vacation and I'm sorry but Boston lobster feast wasn't all what cracked up to be. The crablegs we're so salty they hard to eat when that overly salty it almost so sour. Lobster tails were so so most ones we had were full of orange eggs and was big turn off for us. Now I have to say there mashed potatoes were to die for....

I remember going to Boston Lobster in Kissimmee Florida in the 90s and the cost was $24.99 and I thought that was high!!! $65 is just too rich for my blood for a couple of plates of food.

David always ask the Butcher to cut the prime rib from the middle that is the most tenderest part in the part that's cooked Medium well. The end is always overcooked always. Nothing but love for you all. 🥰🥰🥰

I went there many years ago and it was 29.95 per person my wife and kids we ate there 5 out of the 7 nights we were there the food was excellent. One night I ate 9 Lobsters it was awesome!

I remember a time back in TUCSON, AZ. where myself and 2 friends went to a restaurant off of Tanque Verde ALL YOU CAN EAT LOBSTER 1to 1 1/4 lb. For 14.99 That was 38 years ago. Both of my friends ate 8 each, I scarfed down 10. We sat there and ate for 3 hours to eat all of that. So $65. For the new price seems fair.

Your son is so adorable, and your sweet cute daughter didn’t want any lobster. She is still too little, but she wanted to play with the lobster claw. I think you ate about 4 lobsters, but didn’t see how many your wife ate. Your wife should eat as many as you ate, haha!! Your daughter was so happy refusing the lobster meat you offered her, and giggling!! Oh wait, you got a fifth lobster!! It’s wonderful that you guys had a great meal at the buffet.

I went there when I took the girls to Disney many years ago. The buffet price was $32 back then so you know it was a while ago. I ate 5 lobsters. We went back 2 days later and I ate 4 more.

@@DavidSriracha My daughter was oldest daughter was 12 when we went to the restaurant but I told them she was 10 since she wasn’t that much taller than my 6 y/o daughter. I wasn’t going to pay full price and I knew she wasn’t going to eat that much. Now about the Disney ticket prices. I really don’t remember because I was active duty military at the time and my tickets were free and my girls were half price. That’s how I was able to afford eating out and spending 5 days Disney.

Skip this joint and head South to The Nordic in Charlestown Rhode Island. It's approximately $35 more per person, around $100, but you'll immediately see,taste, smell and feel how superior it is. I've been there four or five times and have been lucky enough to get the same server, Solvang everytime. The quality of food at The Nordic (or The Nordic Lodge- for the old schoolers) is unmatched, but it's the service and atmosphere and overall sense of home and family that make it worth the trip. They close for the season just before Thanksgiving. Make a mid autumn trip, check out the foliage and eat some of the best seafood you might ever try. There's plenty of KZfaq reviews and Google reviews to back up. Enjoy.

So when you ate the steamers (clams), you said “Sandy”. That’s because of two things: 1. You need to get some of the water the clams are in and hold it by the neck and rinse the clam in the water first and then dip in the butter. But 2) FIRST! You need to peel off the black skin from the neck of the clam, you don’t eat it. Then, it should taste nice and sweet with out being Sandy and gritty! Try that next time David! I’m from Massachusetts and eat steamers all the time. 😉 I wish we had this restaurant up here in this area!

that clam you thought was a baby gooey duck is just a clam ....similar to a Massachusetts steamer clam you have to pull the black skin/membrane off then slosh it around in the broth to remove the sand, that's why you said yours was sandy... then dip in butter.....Lobster, Steamers and Beer # 1 summer beach meal here in Boston

First of all I want to talk about my son and daughter while in college worked at Outback Steak House and Copeland's of New Orleans. The reason I bring that up is because they both worked their tails off as tips were a big part of their pay. I have always believed in tipping the server, waiter, etc. if they did a great job, regardless of the food. Good or bad food is not their fault. Great Job taking care of them. Now the food I thought looked amazing. I definitely would have focused on all that seafood and the meats. The crawfish I knew was not going to be the best. I am from crawfish world in Louisiana. I thought it was worth every bit of the $64.95 price. Now the kids not so much. But I would still pay it for the family experience. I mean the tip was that much anyway. I had never heard of them so I will google to see the closest one to where I live. You did an awesome job on this video.
