daniel Quiroga Dak isn’t near as fast as Kaepernick. Kaepernick was a speed runner, Dak is more of a lower the shoulder and bull rush ur ass guy. If our offensive coordinator called plays that that corresponded with how Dak plays rather than making him drop back and throw down field every play like Peyton Manning then he would get deeper in the postseason

As an Oakland fan i still really like Cooper as a player, dude is super humble n lets his game speak for itself. One of the best route runners in the league, was sad to watch him go but i think it was good for both sides. You got a good one Dallas, don't let that 1st rounder go to waste n pay the man!!!

Well I was skeptical I'll be honest (mainly because at the time I was hoping we'd get a qb this year) but it was exactly what Dak needed. Overall Dak didn't have a great season but once Cooper got there Dak was a top 10 qb in yards and completion percentage. To get to the next step they need to get better when in enemy territory, specifically the red zone.

Coming from a Cowboys fan, please stop saying "Dak > Carr" when he ranked #1 in deep pass accuracy this season, almost broke the NFL record for most passes without an interception and had actually incredible stats this year too. He was a top 5 sacked QB, had basically no WRs (the TE Jared Cook had the most receptions, yards and TDs), absolutely no runningbacks to help, one of the worst defenses, etc.. The year before this season he had a fractured spine and Cooper led the league in dropped catches (balls thrown directly to him that he couldn't catch). The year before that? He was a top 3 MVP candidate and ESPN's #1 choice for MVP. Also led the Raiders to the Playoffs.

@@supermccnasty4176 Raiders fan here: I have said it in the past and i'll say it again, i truly think Coop is one of the best route runners in the league. Dude is an absolute stud when it comes to that, its just he dropped the ball a lot in Oakland, yes some were because of Carr's throws but a lot were also dropped because of Coop. I think he just gave up with Oakland halfway through the year (which tbh i would've too lmao) and i think the trade worked out well for both teams.

@Cassie in more ways than one. I think he has evolved as a personality. Came into the league with the reputation of a stone cold killer on the field, no trash talk, no crazy celebrations.. i'll come, do my job and leave, no noise needed. Then his game took a hit and he got to Dallas. As much as helped the Cowboys, they helped him get his confidence back too. Now hearing him speak with all this confidence and play with swagger.. its good to see a swift turnaround from what could have been a potential has-been career path. Perfect marriage. Both parties found love on a rebound lol

As a 49ers fan who saw Vance McDonald go from butterfingers to a top TE for the Steelers because he could finally catch those wide open passes, I feel for Raiders fans who saw the same with Cooper. Anybody who loves football knew that Cooper and Vance can run great routes and get open, but it wasn't until both guys started hauling in balls which were once guaranteed drops did they finally get recognition.

To everyone saying TY hilton and Diggs and others should be better, you’re right, coming from a Dallas fan, Amari cooper turned the season around for us which made him stand out, and if you didn’t know they are selected by their peers. So yes he is higher, but it’s like this all the time, people get higher ranks than they should, eventually he will lower or raise depending on his actions

iCMan//Child well yeah it worked out for both teams though. Amari wasn’t reaching his full potential with the Raiders because he didn’t want to be there in the first place. Cowboys needed a WR and they took a HUGE risk and it paid off for them. Just like it paid off for Raiders since they didn’t have an inconsistent WR dropping balls anymore and they eventually got AB later. It paid off for the Cowboys because they desperately needed a WR and they got him and he turned the whole offense around and got them to playoffs.

Amari never wanted to be a Raider. You can see it in his contract signing photo rookie year and in his lack of focus during games. I always loved him but his drops killed me. Hoping he has a long successful career going forward. Go Raiders!

I think it speaks to the impact of Amari though. I think without Hilton Colts might still do well last year with their O line, run game, and Ebron. Without Amari Dallas misses the playoffs and likely finishes in the bottom ten of the league.

Gabriel Carrasco Dallas defense was nasty. They still would’ve made the playoffs and don’t forget about their running game. Getting coop was a little bonus but they could’ve grabbed another slightly above receiver and made the playoffs

Reyan Aoufi TY is so much better than coop. He started off slow, missed like 4 games and had 917 yards (in 9 games) after their bye week. That’s almost as much as coop had all season playing a full 16. And OBJ had Eli throwing to him and still was productive. TYs small but he’s a smarter player, faster and a better route runner

Saw it firsthand at the playoff game in Los Angeles. Scored on the in route in the first quarter. Beat Lamarcus Joyner easily with his route running skills. I always liked Cooper coming in from Bama , all the WR’s from Bama since Julio Jones have been flourishing in this league

Bro as much as I hate cooper for dissing the Raiders after he left, I do believe he will get better. I’m happy we got to see him tear it up his 1st 2 seasons with the Raiders. But he just fell off his last 2 seasons with the team. He was the teams #1 Wr but Crabtree was Carr’s go to guy over cooper, last year Cook a TE became his go to guy that to me made me wonder wtf was cooper doing but it is what it is he’s doing his thing in Dallas.
