Recently decided to sell my headphone setup as I just wasn't getting to use them as much as they deserved (Verite Closed) and was looking to enter the iem world. After a lot of consideration I decided to make the U6T my first iems and I have to say I'm seriously impressed. I expected quality given 64 Audio's reputation but I still assumed I'd be making some serious sacrifices coming away from the top of the line closed back headphones. To my surprise the difference in quality is so insignificant that the portability and convenience of iems completely offsets it and then some. Will enjoy these for a long time and when I'm bored with them I'll be excited to move up the 64 Audio lineup.

Hello, can I ask, is it really worth to buy U12T? (I am a regular AirPods Pro user that If I switch from Airpods to U12T, the difference will worth? People also say that 64 Audio is only for musicians to use on stages or in studios. Me as a person who doesnt understand tunings etc.. (I have no relationship with stages/musicians…) can I use U12T 64Audio for daily usage? Thank you Also, U12T or A8000 is better? People says that you cant enjoy with U12T get something like VE08? Is U12T really boring?

Thanks for sharing! I'm a little confused, these are listed on 64's website and your website to come with only the m20 and m15 modules but you mentioned that they come with all 3 modules (including mX) at the beginning. Could you help clarify this?

I was also confused about this and just assumed the third was the M10. I emailed 64 Audio and they responded saying they do in fact come with all 3 modules, and that they'll be updating that on their website soon :)

What kind of source you use for your IEMs reviews? Headphone amp/dac or maybe a DAP?

I use various headphone amps/dacs for most reviews, a lot from ifi, and any amp you've seen me review on this channel or on the blog I've used in at least one of my reviews. I mostly used an ifi xCan for this one. I also always test any headphone/IEM without an amp/dac for a bit too see how they perform without any assistance.

How do these compare to the U12Ts in terms of technical performance, detail retrieval, If money wasn't an issue would the U12Ts be a better option? I mainly listen to Metal, sometimes vocals and modern indy. I also will use one of these as a live set when I play bass.

U12t feels a bit more intensely detailed by comparison, though they've quite different sound signatures. The U12t is much brighter and less bassy. To me the choice feels more a matter of personal taste. But if you were looking for detail above everything regardless of tuning, perhaps the U12t would be the better choice, but not by a huge margin.

@@MajorHiFi Thanks, well it does not really matter much if they are not far away in terms of detail and the extra money doesn't justify it, in terms of sound signature I see people giving the U12ts a lot of love. I am a bass player and really would appreciate a tad more bass. Is the bass on the U6T comparable in terms of quality to the U12t? and which one would you say has better midrange or better clarity for male and female vocals?

@@kanz7329 U6t has better clarity for female vocals, but the mids in the U12t are a bit richer. Sub-bass is a lot more substantial in the U6t. If you like a lot of bass the U6t is the way to go.

@@kaankucuk1612 Id say if your going from the Airpods get the Dunu SA6 , similar tuning to the U12T and much lower price , you’ll love them

How do these compare against the Kinera Nanna 2.0?

A more subdued high mid, a tighter low end, more transparent high end, and a bit more pronounced sound separation. Nanna feels more beefy, but somewhat less controlled.

I am hoping to buy these or SeeAudio Neo's. You are one of the few ppl on the planet that has heard both. Can you tell me which you prefer for easy listening enjoyment?

They're quite different sounds and I really liked both so it's hard to choose. It's really a matter of taste with two IEMs of such high quality. To me, the Neo has a more attack-focused, extra-clean sound. The U6t is more natural and slightly looser by comparison. The U6t has somewhat more pronounced sound separation and a slightly wider soundstage. The Neo can reach the same width, but doesn't tend to push as many elements outwards. The Neo to me felt like it catered to the more modern, modulated sound, whereas the U6t goes for a bit more of a classic, unfiltered feel. Hope this helps! - Luke

Very easy to understand. Most iem have a driver and a tube. They use crossover to devide the frequency between the drivers. And that's all. Fiio fh3 uses a longer pipe to create a more echo tone.like placing your phone next to a box. In big speakers they use the cabin as chamber to create that quality like a live tone. Ie 900 from senheiser uses a disperse Box around the driver and a end sound difusing metal circle and from 3 iem with the same driver. That changes all. Most iem uses tubes with filters inside and that's it. Company's like Sony and 64 audio they trying to do the same as a speaker box. Placing a chamber and placing their drivers with distance from the others for tuning . And to be honest. That's my favourite tone in iem. Don't like when they place tubes in drivers and that's all, they change the filters for a different tuning and that's all. Sony and 64 audio they ahead in the game when comes to that.
