I have to be honest, I had pretty low expectations before watching this video. But wow I am pleasantly surprised! Love all the tech in this machine specifically! The digital gauge cluster is awesome and that center screen is very cool! I don’t typically think that many players compete with Polaris in technology, but I honestly think Polaris could learn a few things from Segway!

Polaris is the biggest joke in the industry you must not ride a lot that’s all you see broke and everyone who has had one polaris will never own another one , no side by side should have a belt anymore yamaha and Honda made that apparent when you can buy a yxz or talon and put 20k miles without having clutch issues and changing a belt

@@MiddlePark actually, you DO need a helmet in a SXS. Look up the statistics. Wearing a helmet is the #2 most effective way to survive an accident in a SXS, second only to being sober.

@@pavmentsurfer13 "Need"? Nope. If you want to wrap yourself up with bubble wrap go for it. I'm a child of the eighties, you won't scare me with propaganda and statistics from vested interest. If some extreme situation calls for a helmet or wearing one makes you feel better, more power to you. I ride dirt bikes, street bikes, all of it without one. Might not be for everybody, but I enjoy the freedom and the increase senses you have without wearing a bucket on your head. Not hearing or seeing properly due to a helmet on the road or trail can be deadly. I wonder how many ohv/motorcycle fatalities would have been avoided if a helmet was not being worn and the person was operating their ohv equipment safely with all their senses unimpaired?. If your skill level does not allow for this, or you don't accept the risks, then don't follow my example.

I think the back of that vehicle looks awesome, and I love all the finishing details on the inside panels (I surprisingly like the wheel wells….weird). Great video as usual. A friend of mine has this exact model and him and I went on a 260km trip about a month ago. I was very impressed with it. It handled the rough spots on the trails a little bit better than my Can Am maverick sport xxc 1000r because of the trailing arms. The only issue he's had is the stickers are coming off already but Segway are sending him a new complete set. I do know of one other person that owns this exact model and he's dealing with a broken frame. Hopefully it's just a one off thing. I'm very happy that Segway has introduced there line-up in powersports. The more the merrier. I think it helps in a variety of ways and they are all positive. Keep the videos coming!!! 🇨🇦🍻✌️👍

Just bought a Segway Villain S10 X. This is my first purchase on a side by side. I came to the dealership to look at something completely different. When they rolled it out of the showroom I fell in love with this beast. It just looks more futuristic than any other side by side on the market. It's the Tesla of side by sides in my opinion. Haven't gotten to ride on it other than the parking lot of my work. Will be coming to my house in GA this Friday. Enjoyed watching your video.

I am currently in the market for a sport SXS and I gotta say this one has peaked my interest greatly. The build quality, tech and styling cues are all great from what I see but my concerns are lack of aftermarket parts, OEM support and sustainability/longevity. It is so new the question remains of how well it will last mechanically and accepted globally. If this is a "miss" in industry the people who took that plunge and risk to purchase will find themselves in an unsupported and discontinued rig with very few options to even get rid of it possibly. Other than the "new" risk... I love this machine and is still definitely on my radar for purchase as well as the RZR XP 1000 and Zforce 950 HO EX. Thank you for all the videos and reviews Dirt Trax TV..... these are invaluable to us as the end consumer/user. Keep them coming! Cheers

Great video Luke. My buddy just got one. To me it's alot better fit and finish than my pro xp. It's great that these new manufacturers offer soo many accessories as standard. Hopefully Polaris and Can am will start to do so also. This sxs is basically a can am, motor is can am, shocks and a-arms are can am. But this , obviously isn't a bad thing at all. All the wiring and electronics are made by Bosch so thats good too. Basically a wicked new machine to help push manufacturers to keep improving and developing newer , stronger, faster better machines! If segway came out with a turbo model in the future I think i would be selling my polaris pro xp real quick!. Cheers from Ontario

Being a Segway i’m guessing it is not a budget SxS. All that finished plastic looks great but i’m guessing that add some weight. Looks like way more tech in the screens than anything on the market currently. So with something like this coning into the market it will make other manufacturers take a hard look at what they are selling and competition is great for us as consumers because it gives us better products.

Hi Ken. I'm really close to buying this exact model. Tomorrow actually. I'm just a little bit hesitant still because of the lack of info out there as far as reliability and parts availability etc. A friend of mine has one and is very happy with it. @@benmayhew373 So far reliability has been great. i had zero issues. i live in Cyprus and in terms of parts and availability in Ontario i have no idea but driving fast and going sideways this thing is amazing. Much better than the Polaris. In December i did the opening car for a national Rally Race with this and i can honestly tell you it was a blast. i was posting times faster than most of the rally cars and it's purely due to the suspension which is unbelievable,. They did a great job with it, it's very predictable both in 2wd and 4wd. Power could be better though, but it is as fast as the RZR 1000 with a higher top speed (my max is 130kmph) i also got the full winter kit and i recommend that to you as well.

Now that they are out and I’ve seen them, not in person yet just video, I’m humbled to say I was wrong! I think Segway did an awesome job with it and brought a lot of innovation that has to have Can am, Polaris, Yamaha, Honda, CFmoto watching and maybe even sweating a little bit. Competition is good and drives innovation so hopefully the other OEM’s fire right back by stepping up their machines as well. More competition is always good for the consumer.

I like the front remote reservoir locations. Anytime you don't have to bend over...or crawl around on the ground to make ride adjustments is a good thing. As for newcomer manufacturers. The more players....the better the competition....and the raising of the bar with all brands major and minor. This was a great walk-around DTTV. I love this thing! It checks off several boxes for me; it has long travel suspension to soak up the bumps, holes and stones, it's the right size for trailing riding (even in tight switchbacks, the inner fenders (and other areas) being enclosed will make clean-up easier, it has the same type of technology built into it that we're getting in our cars & trucks today, and it comes with other accessories that I'd have to spend more money on (winch, roof, mirror). I think having new companies entering the off-road market is great. It prevents the established manufacturers from getting lazy, especially when the new guys are offering quality stuff like this. I just totaled my RZR S, so I need to replace it. This is a definite contender against the Can Am Maverick Sport DPS.

I think it had a sleek look with an aggressive stance. I like the idea of having more brands out there to choose from. This way it creates competition for Honda, Polaris, Can-Am. The only draw back is has new brands emerge, it will take awhile for the dealer network to grow for maintenance and accessories. My only worry would be buying a unit and then shortly after the company going under. Just my two cents on the subject. I appreciate the video and your attention to detail. Also, that you give your viewers other options to think about when purchasing something that's costly.

I think it looks pretty cool. I really like new brands busting into the market. I have a Segway dealer in town and I think I just found a reason to Chek them out.

I love the looks. The 72" version has a more aggressive look. I'm an oddball and love the off brand rigs. I personally own a 7yr old Arctic Cat Wildcat 4X that is mildly modified and has never failed to do anything the big boys do except win a drag race.

I live in an area that isn’t kind to tech when it comes to cold. I love all the “up to date” technology; I just know it’s going to crap out when temps get below our regular temp. Tech is awesome, when you can utilize it…..bush Alaska ain’t the place! Y’all work in Canada; perhaps you should look to bush Alaska for input, which I’m happy to do! The amount of atv/utv usage in many communities in our region would surprise you! Most villages use them daily….Nome included. Now that we can drive on main roads with atvs, more people are interested. I want to be a part of that transition!

Bring it on! The more the better. This thing is pretty loaded for the list price. We’ll see about durability. I’m actually looking for a new sxs for spring. If it wasn’t over 60” I may be interested.

Reminds me of the dune buggies. the look does grow on ya though. Would like to see your next video on performance. Also interested if durability is equal to the fit and finish. Never hurts to have more competition in the industry

That is pretty nice, I wouldn't mind having one, The more new brands that come in will force Polaris and Can-Am to improve their quality. I wonder with the ride command app on your phone you can Bluetooth your phone to that huge screen so you can keep track of each other on the trail.

As long as they don’t do like Articat and quit building sxs I think they be fantastic! I love the hybrid concept of there machines! I have seen you tuber adrenaline junkie do a review for them about a year and a half ago and I love how they went above the look of a cf moto and sound like a snowmobile or sound like a wild cat. I believe they will be the next step and changing side-by-side history in terms of quality and technology with the features offered if they keep at it and build a solid reputation and don’t give up. I almost thought articat was going to make history with there wild cat trials and xx models. Oh well.

It sounds like it is well thought out functionally and ease of use. When you highlighted the hubs it made me worry less about the long term reliability. Visually the frame exposure and lines look continuous and gives me the feeling the frame is stout. Your comments about the suspension is more evidence that Segway is focused on performance and quality. Your video is the first I’ve seen of Segway, so haven’t researched the price, but quality, well designed thought out competition pushes the dominant brands to offer more at a lower price hopefully.

It looks really good and competitive looks wise with the Polaris/Can-Am standard. Love more competition in the marketplace - keeps prices competitive (on the base models, anyways) and like the automotive world who doesn't love lots of options?

Thanks for the walk around. I like the looks and agree on the doors, where is the rest? To your comment of comparison with CFMOTO, it does seem they are using the same design source material, or at least buying from the same parts catalogue. Excited for the competition in the marketplace.

I like the look. Curious to see the full test. Would like to see name brand tires and possibly shocks, but will withhold judging the shocks until we see some reviews. There also should be a way to adjust the eps modes without using a phone app. As far as new manufacturers joining the fray, I welcome them. Competition improves the products and is good for the consumers.

I think it looks fantastic. Segway is a well known brand for quality products and with everyone going EV, glad to see an EV company going back to gas. Great to have more competition in the market to have some of the other companies (which will not be named) forced to actually improve their products.

New brands used to popup everywhere and have no dealer network. Like CFMoto for a long time. you needed the smallest of part, it took weeks to get and people just gave it a bad name and now years later, dealers are everywhere. Same for Segway I hope. I know in NB, we only have 1 dealer so far, but that will change as they are proving to be a strong competitor out of the box and 64" will be a winner in my books.

Buena compra
