Does anyone else find it crazy that he does these videos with almost no cuts. Like he is just drops non stop knowledge near flawlessly for 10 minutes with almost no filler.

I love how you can do long sections of video, with very few, if any, uh's! I doubt that my public speaking skills are that good. To you, I give my respects on many of your great abilities!

I made a very effective planing stop for my bench from the blade from broken hair clippers, I can back out the screws for height adjustment, I later chiseled out a recess so it drops flush with the surface when not in use, I learned this the hard way after accidently snagging my arm on it 😬. Rex Krueger makes a very clever version of this which is held in the face vice. A small piece of sheet metal and a file and you can make your own planing stop too. Making jigs and "helping hand" devices is all part of the fun.

It's always illuminating when I get to watch one of Mr. Blackburn's videos. In addition to holding pieces of wood together for gluing or fastening I often use a spring clamp or screw clamp as a temporary "foot" on a board that I need to hold horizontally during assembly such as the wall of a carcass. Also, I am greatly enjoying Mr. Blackburn's Furniture Design and Construction book I recently purchased. The text and illustrations are every bit as clear and relevant as what I find in his video series. Highly recommended.

Thanks for another great video Graham. The corner clamp you showed just after the F-Clamps, has a diagonal slot in the mitre corner - is that so you can run your saw along the mitre to clean up joints which may not align properly?

I have a comment regarding your type set in your books. I have started buying them because I respect and value what you teach us in the different formats. I want to support that by my purchase. I reluctantly tell you I find it very annoying to see the constant usage of the ligature in repeating words. I understand it’s historical usage but my eye is drawn to it, taking away my focus on your content. I’m nit picking and it’s my problem but had to state it and now will go back to reading your book. You should pursue legal action against blackburn tools. a lot of people getting into this craft make the assumption that it is your company. also they have been screwing over customers.
