Recovering from my 3rd knee surgery in the past year. Ill never ride like that again due to some unforseen circumstances throughout this process that has left me pretty disabled. Your video brought me back to the time I did a palm springs 100mile ride that took us deep in the desert. Wasn't too hilly, but def had a calmness to the ride. There was a point where my buddy and I were deep into the zone. He would lead, then I would. We stretched like that for miles. No talking, no gestures, no nothing. Just the road and our grit. Thank you for sharing such an amazing ride. I miss my bike. I miss my life prior to my injuries. I miss it all. Don't take your health and body for granted.

When I was younger, I used to ride down hill a mountain with a group of cyclists at 60+ mph. We also ran through stop signs and traffic lights and got screamed at by drivers. Looking back, I am grateful that I didn't end up dead or paralyzed for my recklessness. For those who are inspired to do the same thing after watching this video, I say don't even try unless you are an experienced rider and know the road really well. Your cool looking helmet is not going to save you from a nasty spill at 65mph or a head on collison with an unexpected vehicle coming at you around the corner. There's a reason you don't see many old dare devils.

There's something that feels special about reaching that speed on a bicycle. Even when you ride a motorcycle, it doesn't feel the same...
@danimayb
@danimayb Жыл бұрын
60mph on a motorcycle just feels normal (if it's not your first time of course, But it will still become normal), You are on a powerful machine built with road comfort and control.. Plus you have a helmet/visor on so don't feel the elements lol. A bicycle is a much more fragile manual machine, At any high speed, Let alone 60, You are gonna feel that fragility which will bring more self awareness, And probably more nervousness, And so that speed will be more apparent.

It's a really attainable descent for most riders as it's not mega steep, corners aren't too sharp, road is wide, well sighted, lacking traffic and good surface. Would love to do it one day. This ride is, well, ZEN-like. So tranquil. So serene. And a HUGE shout-out to the camera operator. OUTSTANDING!!

Sublime. Scenery is out of this world. Time of day and color grade is perfect. Incredible shot at 8:02

Too right. It’s like the cleanest bike advert of all time at 8:38. A man, his bike and nature without all the choppy editing and drama. Bliss

Waited a whole year for this one and it was well worth the wait!! I was able to snag top 10 on this back in November but you still smoked me by 3 minutes which is bananas! 🤯

Doing 55+ mph down a mountain on a road bike I had a rear tube blowout. It was a miracle that I didn't crash, which would have been really, really bad. Since then I moderated my speed a bit.

This veideo is the most calming video I've watched in a while where someone was doing something crazy. You make this look so damn easy to keep the bike stabalized and running smoothly. I bet you had to change out the bearings after this ride?

I love you brother Safa. I went down hard in the CX State championships back in late October and just today got back on. This beautiful piece of art came on before I went out (live here in the SanJuan islands in the PNW) and I felt so blessed, inspired because I know you are out there, like so many of us living this beautiful dream.

The handling on this rig is amazing, my bike would have wobbled at 1/2 the speed around some of those turns lol

Can't decide which is more impressive, nearly breaking the sound barrier on a bicycle, OR the camera work in this video 👏🏻📸🔥 Well done to you both. Inspirational and transcendent. Perfect use for the internet and KZfaq
