I've had long hair most of my life. Some years ago I was in a bad place of self hate and practically shaved off all of my hair. It took me some time to get used to it and I wore it in varying short lengths. Done that at least three times in my long life! It was fun while it lasted, but I got tired of being called "Sir" - my feminine pride was dinged! 😫 And I started losing my hair because of autoimmune issues. Can't hide them bald spots with short hair - plus I missed my lengthy head of hair! So sue me! 🤨 No, don't! 😭 I'm poor! You'd be trying to bleed a piece of old jerky! 🤣 But I digress... Suffice it to say, my grey hair is what it is, and if this baldness progresses and I go completely bald, well... 😳😔 There's wigs baby! Woohoo! 🤓💇‍♀️

I'm a black female, and I had to cut my locs off today, which has left me devastated 😫 , and upset . My hair is short. I ad my locs for 13 years this coming up Jully, but had to cut them due to thinning locs, which mainly broke off at my crown in the back of my head. My beautician covered the area with my other locs, but today was the day that broke the camels back. I had to make the hard decision to either cut off my locs or keep them. Well I chose to keep them. But I'm scared, I've been crying every since I left the shop, I don't feel pretty I look more masculine than feminine. I feel very ugly.

This stylist always makes me cry when I see his work.
