Also I'm pretty sure Bomb Voyage puts a bomb on Buddy's cape in the beginning of the movie. 😂

Joker didn’t fail to make Batman break his one rule. His actions directly caused the death of Harvey Dent, it was a purposeful killing to save the Gordon’s son.

The reflection thing in Jurassic Park was a total accident, it wasn't done on purpose by Lex. She was trying to hide in the cabinet and couldn't get it closed. She was just lucky as hell the reflection thing happened.

I don't know how it works on accident when I think about it. She had to know what she was doing to use a reflection like that and what is the alternative there, she thought the dino was on the opposite side of the room from where it actually was? Plus, did you ever look closely at how quickly she was ready to move out of that box after the dino hit the metal. Like she didn't even take any time to see what happened. She knew it was going to and then almost immediately locks the other one in the freezer. She's also the one who figured out the computer system in like 2 seconds to lock all the doors, saving all of them. If all the characters in Jurassic Park were as smart as this teenager it would just about kids hanging out at a completely normal theme park with dinos.

@@grandreefer She wasn't trying to use the reflection at all. She made a noise to distract the dino. She then tried to utilize the metal cabinet thing to hide in, which was right there where she was hiding from the raptors. Imagine that scenario, but none of the cabinets or shelves are reflective. She has several cabinets to try to hide in. Considering where the raptor is, which one would work best to hide in that wouldn't reveal your location? Obviously the one facing away from the raptor. Thats the one she chose. She wasn't counting on the reflection thing, which is obvious as she was frantically trying to pull the cabinet shut. Do you honestly think that she would consider the reflection would be the perfect thing to foil those raptors, believing they would launch themselves at it and knocking themselves senseless for just enough time to get away? What if they don't launch themselves at all, but instead walks up to it and would simply bend down and bite them? It would easily realize that they are not there, at which time they simply look the other way and there she is.

@@jeremybr2020 I do think there's a bit of what each of us think we see but it is important to note that the script its written that she did it on purpose. After watching it last night I just had to check because often times what we think we see in the actress or actor portraying can change a bit in depending on how they acted it out or other things that stands out to each of us that can throw us off. Like, maybe she did it all by accident. But she also miraculously figured out a security computer system seconds after sitting down. You know, because, she "saw it once before" but nobody questioned that. They wrote that character as a bad a**

@@jeremybr2020 Honestly, I think she just acted so well to fool the dino into thinking she was about to eat that the actress also fooled us. Just the way she climbs out afterwards. If she was surprised by the dino hitting the cabinet she would've at least looked it's way. She doesn't even hesitate. She's already onto helping her brother with the freezer. Sorry I can't agree with you dude. Hope you have a good day.

@@grandreefer That's fine, you don't have to agree with me. Just understand that my position is based on evidence. And yours continues to be factually inaccurate. For example.....She didn't just miraculously figure out the security seconds after sitting down. They already established earlier in the movie that she was a computer "hacker". So she is good with computers. Also, when she sits down at the computer, the first words out of her mouth is....."I know this." She has a history with that particular program which if memory serves, she says its something like a Unex or Unix system. Whatever it is, she is aware of how it works. Plus I'm interested to see where you claim that its written in the script that she got into that cabinet for the purpose of using her reflection to confuse the raptors. I would be very interested to see if its actually worded that way. If that was indeed her purpose, then why was she trying to close the roll up door for? Wouldn't that be antithetical to her purpose? The reflection thing was not done to fool the raptors. It was done to fool the audience. And it was clearly not done on purpose, as evidence shows.

If something is mimicking your movements it wouldn't be grabbing something you are dropping. That always bugged me about Annihilation.

Jurassic Park... Lex didn't use the reflection to trick a raptor. she used the ladle to lure it her way and intended on hiding in the steal kitchen cabinet. but she couldn't get the door closed on it which she is clearly shown trying to do and panicking when it fails to close. her being reflected in the steal cabinet opposite her was simply a coincidence that worked out in her favor. HAD the cabinet door closed for her, the raptor would have been confused for a second over her disappearance, but would likely have given up quickly to chase after Tim again and tear him apart. the best thing to happen in that scene was the her not getting that cabinet door slid closed.

the looper ending is not guarntee to change anything Cid could have been the same if not worse, not a smart decision just and easy way out.

The only real fault in The Martian would be the odds that it was the botanist who was struck by the debris during the storm, thereby stranding the one person from the entire mission who was the best qualified to survive on Mars over an extended period of time. Without that one key bit of chance (on which the movie relies quite heavily upon), this would have almost made it perfect.
