What are you getting from a top of the line full face helmet in comparison to an entry level helmet? In this video I compare the Bell Full 10 and the Sanction/Sanction DLX. Whatever your budget is, a helmet is a super important decision and I hope this video helps!

Nice overview. The bell 10 seems quite expensive but multiple density foam is a nice feature not many helmets have. Typically they just have the hard foam that helps pass safety testing but softer foam is more relevant for most crashes under 20mph or not directly to your dome. I think it's worth it.

Keep in mind, you will be quicker to replace a $120 helmet after a big hit than a $650 one. May just make the $120 one safer.

@@janeblogs324 Yes it's $120. The $180 he didn't show, which is the DLX, has fidlock latch, mips & better lining.

Interesting video. I've always wondered at what price point to you stop getting more protection, and just adding unnecessary extras. Sounds like the DLX is is close. When I was working at shops people buying the cheapest option possible with a helmet was always so frustrating. It's so worth it to buy a helmet that is going to provide the maximum protection...and the better one's are usually more comfortable too.

Yeah maybe a 400 helmet with the spherical technology, but without all the little bells and whistles would be nice. But looking at it from a companies perspective most people who can afford a $400 helmet would probably just go ahead and buy the $650 helmet anyways.

Great video. Old saying still valid today; got a $10 head, get a $10 helmet. I’ll go with the Full 10 please.

The DLX version of the Sanction 2 which takes it's ques from the Full 10 is a better option and has a fidlock which I like a lot!

650.00 is a complete ripoff for a helmet. Wish people would stop buying them so the price would come down. We control the market
