I remember, once we all were eating and suddenly our national anthem started, I stood with food in my hand and mouth without saying anything or without even thinking what I was doing. People all around me were eyeing me as if I was wrong, I was just 8 years old who was taught to stand up with attention on national anthem. And those around me they resumed with their food. I know I was right. To all those Respect our mother land and everything that it has provided us with.

You make sound in the stadium always. But take a pause during the anthems. And make up for the noise lost by making a huger noise at the end of the anthem.

Im a Sri Lankan and feel very emotional when I hear your national anthem and very proud in my heart. Especially, when the last part of the anthem came I got a feeling like im ready to die for anything... You are so lucky and blessed to the have most beautiful anthem of the world.. I do love and feel very proud of my country but I do not get the same feeling when I listen to our national anthem like I do to yours.... I wish it was as beautiful as yours.......
