@B5 BEAST Thanks man! I really need to put the Flowmasters back on it for the sake of my neighbors, my tune and my ears but I'm honestly getting hooked on the race car sound. I figure at the latest I'll put the pipes back on right before it gets cold this year.

The 5.9L Magnum really gets slept on, by most Mopar guys, as "Just a truck engine with them heads that cracks after 50,000 miles" blah blah blah. I put a set of 318Bs from EQ on mine, and never looked back.

@East Bay Hounds Yeah traffic is getting kind of thick around here these days. Been a long time since you uploaded anything, how's the Fairlane doing?
@eastbayhounds76044 жыл бұрын
Impact's Garage and Gaming The Fairlane is out of commission for the foreseeable future unfortunately. It needs a bunch of work and I just don’t have the resources to make it happen. East Bay Hounds has kind of been on hold since the beginning of the pandemic because we have all been keeping our distance. I started making another vid of my electric wagon over the weekend because I had a couple people ask for more details after the first vid so I will post that one soon. I am curious how that T-Bird project is going and always looking forward to your next vid.

@@eastbayhounds7604 I just started making part two of the the T Bird project the other day. I installed a new fuel pump that isn't leaking and I had to search far and wide and order a 30 dollar special thick carb gasket to get the carb to seal up without an air leak. It's running much better now and without a bunch of ugly gasket maker around the carb spacer. And it's too bad we are on opposite sides of the continent from each other, otherwise I'd come over and help you get the Fairlane fixed up. What's ailing it anyway? Maybe I could at least offer some advice.

Impact's Garage and Gaming Glad the Thunderbird is coming along. The Fairlane’s first need is a brake light switch replacement so I can drive it. There are many other little things that need to be addressed sooner or later. The engine and trans could also use a rebuild. I would probably sell it if it was worth anything but I couldn’t recoup more than 1/3 of what I have into it already. I have had some great times in that car but am feeling pretty down about it right now.

@@eastbayhounds7604 Damn, I would really hate to see you sell that car to anyone at all. It's one of the most unique ratty muscle cars ever. I can't believe no one has put it into a magazine or internet article yet. The beauty of that car is that it is so mechanically simple there is nothing on it that I couldn't fix affordably. Whatever is bumming you out about it I am %1000 sure you could tackle it yourself. Hope things start looking up for you!

@Old Skool Only Garage Thanks man! The car was running super lean after I put these pipes on here. Took a lot of time tweaking the carb to get it cruising smooth and ripping the tires up again. I didn't have any extra bigger jets laying around and this is only supposed to be temporary anyway so I made it run richer by giving it way more accelerator pump adjustment, raising the fuel bowl levels way up past the sight plugs to force the jets to flow a little more fuel and also made the idle mixture screws super rich. This made the car run a lot smoother but its far from perfect.
