Coming back to comment. I have been playing around with this build. Neres screaming sword got me into act 3 (honor mode) and for once I actually used fork (quasit from act one) because she can go invisible and stay invisible and I had her start a lot of the fights so the enemies were surprised. Another great item is the shield of the devout. You can purchase it from the quartermaster at the last light inn in act 2. It gives you an additional level one spell slot. Which is great but what makes it even better is if you use up all your spell slots you can unequip it and reequip it and it gives you another one, so you can do that indefinitely. Another great thing to farm is the potions of angelic reprieve sold in moon rise towers and it restores all level one and two spell slots, so if you run out after a fight and don't feel like long resting, you can take one, sleep for two turns, and all your level one and two spell slots are restored. Those two items are actually really good to farm sorcerer points as well. The drake throat gaive (sold at moonrise) is also really good because you can use it to make any weapon you want into an elemental weapon (additional fire, acid, etc damage) until you long rest. Finally, the amulet of the branding, which is a lootable item found at the creche.

Dammon sells a shortsword at Last Light Inn that adds an automatic 10 Necrotic damage to every crit and gives you temporary hp.

Great stuff Spud, I love making Palassassins! Couple of suggestions if I may: - Not sure if its optimal but lightfoot halflings work well as they never fail stealth - There might be a better option for Act 2 weapon, speak with Z'Rell upstairs and pass a perception check and ask for more help. Then go back downstairs and speak with Lann Tarv, he will have a sword called Render of Mind and Body that gives 1d6 psychic damage when attacking with advantage. - Killers Sweetheart / Luck of Far Realms are good pickups to keep crit hitting after first round, or if you are locked into a closed arena boss fight - As built, it's a bit light on spell slots. Respeccing to Sword Bard 6 / Pal 2 / Ass 3 at Level 11 might be more optimal?

I may just have to restart my Paladin character to go with this build, cause this is absolutely insane.

It hits even harder if you do 3 levels of rogue, 3 paladin, and 6 sword bard. You get way more spell slots and of higher level for your smites.

I'm definitely building this for my next Tav. Here's a suggestion though. I noticed you were carrying the moonlantern, but you can just free the pixie inside and she'll still give you the same passive ability that protects you from the Shadow Curse.

I'm in act 3 on my first honor run playthrough playing as a dark urge & I haven't even had a single character go down in combat. I think I'm going to do a solo run in my next honor mode playthrough. I've been playing D&D games since Neverwinter Nights back in the early 2000's. At this point, this game is too easy for me. Butchered the Druid's Grove & butchered the bard chick while sleeping. I wish I could clone Minthara & make her my wife. That's a badass chick.

The Bhaalist armor is so OP. I am using it on a coop honor mode run as a swords bard/war cleric/fighter with crossbow expert and sharpshooter feat. Took down Orin in 2 seconds, took down Raphel in one turn. I hope they never nerf it.

I wonder if a 6/3/3 Paladin, Rogue and Warlock variation would be any good to be able to push your attacks with charisma instead. Would need respeccing since it wouldn't come fully online until level 12

This build can do a lot more damage if you just take an orc.

How did you use smite without consuming any spellslota? How did you land 6 consequitive attacks against Malus in the intro?

I thought that you can use only one "ask button" reaction per attack, so how can you active smite + sneak attack on the same attack? Thanks for this vidéo

Could this Build be better if i Start as Half-Orc, morph to an Githyanki and stell the Legendary Sword from Voss in Act1? I would use 2handed waepons. My friends toll me... if you morph into another race, you getting bouth race bonuses

There is a possible 81,216 different builds. There are lots of videos like this all claiming the same thing and there will be many more to come.

On lower levels you easily get killed with Honor mode. Yes you have great damage but even 22 armor the enemy is scoring critical hits and they throw grenades and flame bombs and you’re dead.

I wonder.. Does this work with strength too? As in you still use finesse weapon but instead of dex you use it with strength.. In which case you could technically get +1 more hit and damage.

How do you got all those items in a new game like that ? :o Is this a mod ?

i've tried 6 paladin and 6 sorcerer, i was able to do lvl 4 and 5 smites, maybe with 3 paladin, 3 rogue and 6 sorcerer will be even funnier

its really easy to become an unholy assassin if you have karlach stand before the murder tribunal after killing gortash

I found it, this will be my Build for Dark Urge Solo Run in Honor Mode. I will pick the Half-Orc for more damage on crits because as Evil Urge I think I will not get the legendary Rapier. Solo Dark Urge: Pick Orc for Savage Attacker and more Crit Damage. 17Dex, 16Con, 15Cha Starterclass: Paladin - LV1: Oath of Vanchens - LV2: Duel Fighting, Divine Smite - LV3: Hunters Mark (BA) - LV4: +1Dex / +1Cha - LV5: Extra-Attack Rogue: - LV6 (R1): Sneak Attack - LV7 (R2): Hide & Dash as BA - LV8 (R3): Assassin (Auto Crit Strat) - LV9 (R4): Alert (be first, every Fight) Paladin: - LV10 (P6): Aura of Successful Saving Throws - LV11 (P7): Aura of Hate (at that Point) - LV12 (P8): +2 Dex

this has like no spell slots lol, so it's kill an enemy, long rest, kill enemy long rest xD

The only thing I'd change is stopping Paladin at 6, and take those last 2 levels as sorcerer, few more slots and you can use that item trick to create sorcerer points to then in turn create more spell slots.

I cant understand, you show us your interesting bulds, but action and bonus action in your videos are unless, it wont work in real game that you explain it.

"Love" videos like this. You praise your build, insert a couple of the most successful strikes into the video. But essentially? A level 5 paladin has 5 spell slots, spent them in a couple of battles and got dull average unimpressive damage 🙄 Considering how many battles there are and on honor mode we try to use minimum longrests not to lose buffs . And paladin spellslots don't reset on short rest.
