I've personally boarded this mountain quite a few times. It's Sundance Resort above Provo, Utah. Now everyone is freaking out in the comment section like the cameraman is an idiot for just standing there, but in reality, they're looking down in a canyon. They were just hit by a powder cloud. Much like a snowstorm. They were never in "danger" to begin with.

@@stevejoshua9536 of course they don't when they're tall enough, or the avalanche is far enough away, but when you don't know the area, the angle makes it seem like it's going to sweep them away. I love to play with camera angles like that, and I have a number of pictures of my kids and nieces and nephews who appear to be clinging to rock ledges, or teetering precariously on the edge of a cliff when they were safe the whole time. This is an amazing video for many reasons, and that's high on the list among them.

Totally incorrect! Obviously the only viable option is, to quickly identify your threat, an surroundings, find a safe cover/concealment, and your target + backstop. Slowly & precisely draw your firearm, set your sights on the appropriate target of the threat. Begin firing until the threat is stopped don't be afraid to reload & repeat. Next step is to call 911 , for LEO/ EMS to assist. Final step is go to jail because Utah dosnt have a stand your ground law, as well as the attacker was unarmed, while you failed to run away when you (claimed to) have perceived a threat but chose not to. Instead of responding asymmetricaly , using deadly force. ... But... you would be alive... So yeah

As someone who is in it every season, they were in no harm. They're about a thousand feet up on an opposing mountain. What you're mainly seeing is just the cloud. for anyone confused as to why they don't do anything and just talk as it comes towards them: 1. You are not skiing, snowboarding, or running fast enough to get away, unlike how you can in video games and movies 2. they were high and the valley was low so most the snow was absorbed there and all the remaining snow was just phasing over them if that makes sense because at that point it wasn't a huge amount of snow that could easily bury you, it was more like a tiny blizzard
