This is a neat set up. With a few* modifications, this hexapod jig could transform into an omnidirectional treadmill to simulate getting out of the aircraft and continuing the simulation on foot to jump into another vehicle.

Jail break!! So cool... Would still love to see a video where the helicopter takes off and do a pedal turn left or right to get an idea of how the platform raises and yaws at take off.

just wow! how smooth it runs. I'm building a DIY 3DOF with rotatory motors and it starts to be frustrating. I'm in love with your motion rig but my problem is the budget, I'll still dreaming with it

I like how you’ve added the cable pole to keep it away from the pilot…. Can you imagine the incoming law suit the YAW2 guys might face with their 360 rotation which is no real use for flight imho 😂

Hi, what's the law suit you're talking about ? Something recently happen with Yaw 2 ? (I know their sad story with their backers)

@@arthurkubrick949 oh I meant it as a joke arising from a 360 yaw tying the cable around the player from the headset or controls (I wasn’t being serious)
