I had the same problem, but what worked for me in the end was: 1. Press the start button (just one touch) 2. Press one of the existing options ("chips", for example) FOR 3 SECONDS (this will make it go to "manual") 3. Press warm several times and that will change the temperature on the screen 4. Press timing several times until reaching the time you want I hope this works for you.
