This is such a great video! Self care is so important, and it doesn't have to cost a lot of money to practice self care. My fav way to practice self care is with a cup of tea and my fav netflix show! I wanted to wish everyone here in the comments a day filled with happiness, productivity and most importantly, self care! 😍

Not knowing the truth about who God is a sad place to be I've been there! I have had a relationship with the God of the universe now for 25 years and haven't looked back! It's not something you can understand unless you experience it. I was going through a terrible time with my 4 year old health and I prayed and said God if you are real come into my heart. I was so broken hearted to see my daughter in so much pain and desperate for peace. And miraculously He filled me with unexplainable love, joy and peace! Once I found sound biblical teaching I was able to grow in my faith and knowledge of who God is and how much He loves all people. (there is a lot of false doctrine out there). If you really want to know your Creator cry out to Him you will not be dissappointed! www.reviveourhearts.com/podcast/revive-our-hearts/you-can-be-known-god-1/

This is actually really good. I watch so many of these types of videos with them promoting all these things saying, oh it only costs $25 so it's a great deal. I don't have $25 to spend on myself. It seems like it's always the people that need self-care the most that cannot afford it or do not have the time. I see so many people like, On a much needed vacation! 🙄 When they've taken 3 vacations this year! I haven't had any time to myself in over a year. My husband and I haven't had any time just the two of us in 2 and a half years. Our last date was when my son was 6 months old, he turned 3 yesterday. It's exhausting, but these are actually some tips I could try out! So thank you! ❤️

Please make time for a "date". They can be frugal or at home after kid is asleep. Plenty of ideas on internet and Pinterest. I have seen too many couples drift apart after kids are raised because they didn't nurture the relationship. I learned from their mistakes so I didn't have to make it myself.

Thank you, Kathryn. Even old dogs like me find new tricks very refreshing. Anxiety has a way of sneaking up on many folks that do not even recognize it. Self care, especially some brief meditation, is essential to keep everything going. If the head isn't right, the rest of the body can't be either. You are a special kind of gal. Much love!

Think you for your tips. This came at a perfect time. I recently had a health scare that made me see that it had been literally decades since I had really done much for myself, cup fillers and self care were just not in my wheel house. My husband used to force them on me, insisting on a couple of beach days a month, and that meant I had to take time for a pedicure. He always made sure I had the "Good coffee" in the house and lots of books and music so that I had lots around to be tempted to slow down for. In the five years since he passed away I've lost the ability to even see opportunities but I have a new grandson and another on the way, and so I've been trying to find little ways to slow my role and focus on me before I fall into the routine of only taking care of the needs of others. Every one of these spoke to my heart and soul and my empty cup. Thank you so much for this video

Thanks for sharing this! I think a lot of moms on a strict budget look at Instagram perfect pics and feel that they can't practice self care because they think it means expensive and luxurious, but self care doesn't mean pampering. Instead it focuses on physical, spiritual, and emotional health. Thanks for making this attainable. When I get anxious I can listen to Scripture or read it. It calms my soul and reminds me about what matters most. Playing piano is therapeutic for me as well!

Love it all! Been working on making selfcare time a priority. With 5 kids I need to make sure my cup is full so I can be my best for them. And I encourage others to make time for themselves.

I loved this video! Thank you for the advice. Money is tight but having a toddler leaves me feeling like I need more than just a good nights sleep. It’s so refreshing that self care doesn’t have to be about blowing through the bank account ☺️

Really needed to see this. I suffer from anxiety and depression. I've been feeling great for the past few months but it's always great to hear how other ppl take care of them selves even when money is tight. Thanks!!!

Thank you for all the beautiful ideas. I started learning to play the Ukulele and learning Spanish on Duo Lingo both this summer. It has been so wonderful just to learn something new, just for myself. Continuing to be a life long learner is one of my new self-care goals.

I love this video. After I had my daughter I was not indulging in self care and started feeling so anxious. I have recently started get up at 5:30am to have time to myself to sip coffee and watch KZfaq before my little one gets up.
