Join us in this episode as we enjoy an amazing day hiking, sight-seeing, rock scrambling and eating in Shenandoah National Park in Virginia. We did 7 fun things along Skyline Drive in the middle portion of the park during our day which allowed us to see mountaintops, waterfalls and much more. Our meal at the Big Meadows Lodge was DELICIOUS and included a couple of signature items that you'll definitely want to check out. As always, stick around for our usual JUST FOR FUN bloopers and silliness at the end. Let's go!
We welcome your positive, encouraging comments and appreciate you liking and sharing our videos, which helps us grow our channel. Thank you in advance for your support in what we are doing!

Thanks for the prayers! They are always appreciated. This park is just so green and beautiful and a great place to get out play on some rocks. And you can summit the tallest peak without hiking for miles and miles.

Hello there! Another great adventure in the books! Here are my top 5! 1. Bearfence Trail - You both make rock climbing look so easy and I know isn't. You both got skills. 2. Waterfalls - Nothing more beautiful and peaceful then the sounds of waterfalls. 3. Big Meadows Lodge - the food and dessert all looked scrumptious! 4. Rose River Trail - I loved how green everything was. Beautiful trees and cascade waterfalls. 5. Hawksville and Stony Mountain - those views were absolutely stunning!

We visited Shenandoah National Park years ago and just drove through. It was beautiful doing that, but to really experience it, you need to get out and hike. We loved these trails! The rock scrambling was a lot of fun, the waterfalls were beautiful, the mountaintops were spectacular. Oh, and the food was pretty good too. Thanks, Teresa, for your Top 5. We think they are our Top 5 also.

Great views and waterfals. I really thought Stoney Man was the best. Nothing can beat the wonder's of God's Glory in nature. CS Lewis said, " There are far better things ahead, than any we leave behind." Your Mission is proof of this statement and it will keep getting better. "We'll travel on, over mountains so high We'll go through valleys below Still through it all we'll find that This is the greatest journey That the human heart will ever see The love of God will take us far Beyond our wildest dreams"

Shenandoah was gorgeous! It had a little bit of everything--waterfalls, mountaintops, good food--all of our favorite things. And these lyrics are from one of our favorite SCC songs. We are on the great adventure indeed. Dan, thanks for watching and for the encouragement!
