I'll admit, I'm generally worried I'll never be with a woman in my life again, I've listened to the advice of focusing on myself and have done for years. I have social anxiety and have tried improving my confidence plenty of times to no avail, but I've always been a straight up anxious person and don't feel like that will ever improve. Instead of shaming men for being single, why don't we teach that it is okay to be single, to be comfortable being single and to work on yourself and your own goals? Girlfriends aren't everything.

Same. I guess I will still be single this Valentines day too. I am a guy who turned 22 just 3 weeks ago and never had a girlfriend and use dating apps but hardly get any matches. Rarely some 18-23 age girls match with me but they ghost or unmatch me for no reason. I really wanna try my luck on a girl who was my friend when we were in elementary school in 2008-2011 but we never talked with each other in person since 2011. She surprisingly still remembers as I follow and chat with her on Instagram. She is 21 now and only 5 months younger than me and I would love to date her but she doesn't reply to my last message for a week or so. She turned off her activity status on IG so can't even see when she is online. I wanna meet her and maybe even hug her but idk how.
