I sold my R33 Skyline a year ago and got an R32. Pretty happy with it already, prices went up in a year, but I do not think I will ever sell it. I just love it!

Last year I mported an R34 sedan for reasonable money, if I wanted to buy a similar car now, I'd pay twice the price!! The sedans have always been less desirable but with the prices of the coupes going through the roof, people are buying the sedans pushing up their value. Enjoy your R32 👊😃

@@jacdavis thank you! good luck for your next one! lucky me, 6 months after I imported my car, my country forbid to register foreign cars that never been sell in Europe. There are only 3 r32 gtr and 2 or 3 r32 gtst only registered here. so prices rocket up here. this is for all jdm and american cars too.

My dad owns a E93 325i manual. Might hold his value as it's a manual and there are not a lot of manual E93s since old people bought them to drive with the roof down so most cars were specced with an auto. Dunno tho, I'm only 14 so I don't have the financial knowledge of older people.

I anticipate the E92 M3 being the most consistently expensive M3 outside of the E30. At least in the United States, can't speak for other countries. The fact that it is the only V8, the last generation with hydraulic steering, last generation with a high revving motor & it was relatively reliable as far as M3s go really makes me think it'll be a long term favorite. I think the E46 is held back by the SMG and some major chassis related reliability issues. The interior in the E92 has also aged way better than the E46 interior has IMO.

The M3 E46 won the Nurburgring 24 Hours in 2005 as well as the GT Cup class (2nd overall) in the 2006 Britcar 24 Hours at Silverstone It’s also one of my favourite cars

The TT recall was for much more than just the retrofit of a spoiler. I had one of the first ones and they took it back to the factory and remanufactured it. It came back a completely different car with a different dash different suspension and the added electronic dynamic control that it didn't have before. It was a lot of fun before the mods, sliding around corners etc, but after the remanufacture it was much safer and stable to drive. As the recall was free, and Audi gave a free new A6 to drive whilst it was being done, why would anyone have wanted to hold onto a car renowned for falling over and killing people?

Good selection, just depends on your budget and we all have our favourites. E46 M3 is a bit of a no brainer , it must be the best you can afford with a 6 speed manual.

Nice video! Would have added: - The BMW M2 (especially the CS and the Competition versions) - The Ferrari 456 GT: it's a front engined V12 Ferrari with pop-up headlights and a manual option, and now it's sitting at around 60.000$. It will grow up for me. Same for the 599 GTO, which is currently selling for 100.000$. It still has some potential. - The Jaguar F-Type Project 7. Now it's selling for 200.000$, that's a lot of money but it's still not a lot for such a rare and beautiful car. - The Ferrari 458: last N/A V8, a game changer for the Ferrari brand and for the whole supercar segment. It's a masterpiece, now it's selling for 150.000$. - The Mercedes SLS AMG, and the AMG GT. I don't think their price will go down more.

I consider the GMC Syclone a very future classic. Currently worth 25.000 €s in Germany, this one will probably skyrocket in the next years. There is a problem: I am 20 years old and I want one of them. The 3 future classics are: Dodge (Challenger) Demon Smart Roadster (maybe a Brabus edition) Renault Avantime

Dodge Viper will 100% raise its value due to the fact it's not produced anymore which makes the car even more rare, even the last model (ACR Spec) holds its price around 180.000$

Rather than the Giulia QF, which is still pretty new, I would’ve added to the list the Brera. Get one with the 1750TBi engine in TI trim and it will skyrocket in value

Fully agree with the C63, TT and M3. All worthy nominations. I would add the S2000 and Boxster (986 or 987). The late 90s was a golden age for driver cars.

The Pontiac Solstice, a car that was maligned by the recession and Pontiac's fuck ups with the Aztek, is pretty much there just by rarity. Only a few thousand were made, and the turbocharged GXP is rarer still. I saw one with 40k miles for sale while perusing and my jaw hit the floor.

Last year I had a 2006 m3 in my hands at 10k because the dealer was sick of looking at it. But it had the crap transmission. It needed some love but the best part was that it had 50k miles. I never went for it. But luckily I'm now in the market for a future classic. And I have my eyes set on 2 and most of you will be happy with my two picks i have coming. A beautiful black 1995 Honda (yes honda right hand drive) NSX and a 2017 Ford Focus RS.

Cars are a personal choice, some love the 2CV, some love the original Mini, others like the Porch 356, the 'Bug Eyed' Sprite, Morris Minor or an Giulia 1750. Who knows what people will buy after petrol cars are no longer made, anything pre-2030 I expect. Audi TT?? Which way is it going? Lower volume made cars will command the money. I love the EU clip "I am the law".

nice list I mostly agree there , except for the V6 Clio : DEFINITELY go for the Phase 2 , for many reasons : 1.the Phase 1 was litterally undrivable so they extended the wheelbase & front track on the Phase 2 so the 2 is a waaaay better driving experience - 2. Porsche actually worked on the engine and extracted more HP - 3. believe it or not , there were more Phase 1 made than Phase 2 , so the Phase 2 is actually rarer ! and yeah , the Phase 2 looks waaay better IMO ... other than that (and the fact that the Avantime would be a future classic ???) , I can add some BMW from the 90s (and the e60 M5 or the e92 M3) , some Porsches bar the SUVs , the CLK DTM AMG, VW GOLF R32 etc ....

Nice to see the MK1 TT getting the appreciation it deserves. While it seems to be more common in the UK, here in the US it’s a timeless piece of automotive design that is actually quite rare to see.

Thank you for mentioning the Aston Martin Cygnet! A fabulous car, well ahead of its time! Numbers, produced, were: 789 (not 300), of which 170 only were manuals (112 left hand drive, 58 RHD) - And I promise you: they will even become rarer, because they tend to rust after 10 years now, like any Toyota. Unfortunately Aston Martin didn’t improve the rust protection within their own production line!

I'm a Viper fanatic. Not only do I see the 1992 Viper shooting up in value, but also the second gen 96-97 GTS, especially in the iconic blue with white stripes. Just absolutely stunning in design imo

Lexus GX470. You used to be able to find one for less than a 4th gen 4runner of the same year. Crazy for a luxury SUV that shares a lot with the Land Cruiser. Unfortunately the word is out on how capable, reliable and luxurious they are, so prices are starting to go up. If you have one, I suggest you keep it. If not, get one before they become unaffordable.

So what do you guys think, the first gen RS6, the C5. Do you guys think it's value is gonna increase? Prices in the Netherlands are around 18-20k for a decent to good one. I think it will increase cause it's the first gen of the iconic RS6 series, but what do you guys think?

The reason why the Giulia QV is very rare is simple: Italian tax loophole! There's this thing in Italy called "Superbollo"; basically after 185 Kw od power (between 250/290hp, depending on the weight) you have to pay 20 euros for every Kw more than the already high car taxes! A new Giulia QV will make you pay an extra 3.800 euros of taxes every year, however after 5 years the number will go down to 12 euros for every extra Kw, after another 5 it'll be 3 euros, then 3, and after 20 years of car age it will be 0. But not just luxury cars, even a FORD FOCUS ST will make you pay €420 every year!!! Let me know if you think this is ridiculous!

Also there's the problem of the fuel price: gas price in the US would be like 60/70 cents (€) per litre, in Italy the price is 1,6/1,8 euros per litre!!! This is the reason why there are so many diesel cars here (diesel prices ar like 1,3/1,5 euros per litre)
