The Nationalist did indeed do most of the heavy fighting and by far had most of the casualties. Usually in set-piece battles to defend Chinese cities from the rapacious Imperial Japanese. 36 major Nationalist campaigns against the Japanese vs 1 by the Communists. However, the Communists did excel at guerilla actions and ambushes like the one depicted.

The NRA Defence where not stupid. the NRA they where just not equipped only some Divisions where using modern equipment and weapons. The NRA also use different weapons bolt-action Rifle,semi-automatic rifle,pistol,bayonet,LMG,HMG,they even had a tank and aircraft,military truck,military vehicle,armored vehicle.

Not fully true...Korea yes but China was never fully colonized and actually never pacified either...In Japan even though there was military or victory over and over the high command of the empire even called China the unofficial part As the local civilians bank by communist Insurgents would just keep harassing the local garrisons to the point were leaving your Barracks by yourself was considered a death wish...Plus at most only around a third of China actually fell to Japan as Japan was also incapable of pushing inland after an extent

@@lolbit1232 What are you talking about? South Korea was not colonised but annexed, so Korea is part of Japan's country.Why the Japanese army could not occupy China as a whole is because China is wide, but most famous cities in China are occupied and almost like colonising China into Japan.
