Hey Ladies, I have a question. A week ago I painted some Owls with WAVERLY Matt Acrylic paint. They were too dull for me. I painted them with Gloss MOD PODGE. Why are my Owls still sticky to the touch ? I would appreciate if someone could help me with my Sticky Owls? Thank You, Nancy....

The tree was sort of cute!! I would put some snow on it. You know not every tree in nature is beautiful. When I was young, my dad picked out the ugliest tree on the tree lot. The back had very little good branches. It wouldn't stand up straight. Had to put books under one leg if the stand to keep it even. Had to tie it to the stair railing to keep it upright. But, once it was decorated, it looked nice. Great job!!!

I immediately thought of spray painting it myself. Soooo funny. You could’ve done just a psychedelic Christmas tree and found some twine to put tiny little faux ornaments on.

The fuzzy pen made me think gnome. Turn the fuzz to point down, stick a cap and nose on it. Put tree lights on it, and some berries, call it a day.

From far away and on camera the “ Mange Tree 🌲” doesn’t look as bad. But really there wasn’t much to be done with that pen. I still think it’s an improvement on how it looked to begin with.

You’re killing me girl!! I’m literally dying over here with that tree!! I was thinking gnome when you opened it lol 😂 but seriously, for the cat toy, I instantly thought table wreath. You could paint it a solid color and add greenery where the ball was. A piece of that foam in the center and a nice candle!! The projects turned out great though (apart from the mange tree 😂). I would definitely get her back!! 😂🤣😂🤣 Oh, side note, it would be fun to have the husbands pick out like 5 items for you to craft with! I bet it would be even harder than a crafter picking out items!! 🤣😂 is love to see what Mr. Cheap picks out for you! 😳❤️

Oh my goodness, Courtney 😅 You are hysterical. I was laughing so hard with that fuzz tree! When you brought that in front of the camera... I was dying! It looked like a dirty brillo pad! I love this challenge... It was so fun to watch all you girls! You did such a great job on all of these! Love the Bell one... and that mini suitcase is ridiculously adorable. I love you, girl... This is a blessing to all you crafters who lift us up with your extraordinary crafting ideas, engineering of them, displaying of them and demonstrations of how we might do the same. I've been quarantined for months, live alone, no family and retired from computer world. I stumbled across you heroes and am now hooked. I still feel like Lucy on the chocolate candy assembly line, bought the cannon sized hot glue gun from Amazon and nothing is safe from glue in my home! Now I know to get the small portable like yours, so my fingers can heal from burns. lol You are so much fun!!! THANK YOU!!!

When I saw the cat wheel my first thought was to make it into a Christmas tree stand!!!! Color it any color you want of course lol then get some of the round Xmas ornaments and place them into where the balls go then maybe some of those little LED lights. Ok now I'm thinking I'm going to get that cat toy 😅😂🤣 love everything you make very nice!!!!!!

I liked the window and the truck. I think the tree could use lots of bling - garland, beads, rhinestones, lace, ribbons and bows. Poor little thing needs some love. Excellent use of the cat toy. Man, oh man, I like all of them! Even the tree. Really, I'm proud of you for putting it in a forest. Maybe it would like to be surrounded by lots of trees. Lots of trees!

I watched you go through the entire crafting challenge until the last one... I laughed so hard at not only the outcome of the tree craft; but also the comments you made trying to figure out how to salvage the final craft. And true to form, as a champion is, you put your tree front and center of the grouping of the trees at the end. ♥️. I thought that when you took the tray and turned it into a window that you would have used the fuzzy pencil top and incorporated it into a Sesame Street character. You made my day and turned it into tearful laughter. You’re the best🎄🎄

First let me say, I LOVE the mystery box challenges! I stumbled onto them by accident and have been binge watching them the last few days. I’ve heard references to this one in other videos, and I’m so glad I finally found it. I laughed so hard at the end that I had tears streaming down my face. I’m glad to know that even people who are really good at this sometimes have fails. It gives me hope. Thanks for sharing! 🤣

Courtney, Brush out the failed tree with a pet brush. Trim up any of the hair that pulls away. Paint the underside so that the rainbow doesn’t show through. Then lightly spray faux snow from above. Stage on the bottom level of a tied tray.

I love your mange tree. Look at it this way!!! When you don't have a lot of money but you want a tree, you make one out of whatever you can find....No matter what you find!!! It doesn't always turn out nice but it's the tree that you needed at that moment. Enjoy the tree for it's simplicity and the need to have it. 💞💞💞

Yes it is we did a Christmas play about a solider on the battle field and he sang that song while kneeling g with his helmet laying beside him and his rifle in stance in hand while he we kneeling and singing I was out church group was still together so they could do it again

The tree could be rescued if you trimmed the bottom, glue decorations and lights on it... but then there are times you have to admit defeat! Great challenge! And my favorite was the cat toy turned jingle bell.

I would have turned the pen into a gnome! I would have even left it rainbow! The tree ended up looking like some of the trees I've seen in German tourist shops. It could have been way worse! Thank you for sharing and letting us see that not all crafts go as planned.💕💕💕

The tree at the end was not bad. If you added some green paint, and many a smidge of glitter, it would be fine. Then trim the bottom to even it out, and it would be nice. Maybe some white frost for the tips? I think it was a fantastic idea! My favorite was the Jingle all the way sign. I bought a few of the plaques, waiting for inspiration. I think your idea was clever.

You could've turned the piece of fabric, you took of the pencil, into a tiny Christmas stocking. A furry rainbow stocking with a plain backside. Just a fun little ornament for a small colorful Christmas tree .

I woke at 1:00 a.m. and came upon your video. When it came to the tree for the last DIY I could not stop laughing so much you have a wonderful personality a wonderful talent and I love watching your DIYs. do not change continue to be who you are God has blessed you tremendously. I love your attitude! You had me laughing and made me feel better about some of the things I’ve come up with, lol!! Loved the tray conversion to the window and those napkin rings!!!! Awesome ideas!!! When I saw that challenge item, I was thinking “Broom?” I don’t know. That was a tough one!!

You are so creative! I just love what you did with all the items from your mystery box. That last tree however was a real challenge! Don't beat yourself up too much... it reminds me of the Grinch's tree! At least it's unique. Thank you for sharing and God bless.

Love the detail on the little suitcase. The "mange tree" was hilarious! I think we've all been there! When I saw that pencil my first thought was a gnome with a rainbow beard. Lots of other great ideas.😊

Awe sweetie don't be so hard on yourself everything looks beautiful...even the tree...not every tree in the forest is perfect and neither are we i honestly like the tree felt like it could have used a bit of snow...I thought of a gnome dressed like an elf with a paintbrush and paint palette 🎨 stuck in his beard....thanks for sharing loved it all God bless and stay safe

Ok, I saw your video of your 20 fav DIYs of 2020. When you showed your mange tree, I didn't quite get why you were calling it a failure, so I had to come and look for myself. I loved everything up till your mange tree. When you came back in from spraying it, and said, in a frustrated tone, we'll.... I have to admit I busted up laughing. Not at your mange tree, at your reaction. You are a scream. Now then, I might be the only one that loves your mange tree, but I think it's awesome. Interior designers always say a room has to have a conversation piece in it. So with that, you created a masterpiece. 👍😊 To be honest I think you need to think of different ways to use it each month. Without anything being permanent, except your darling mange tree. It could be made in to a Gnome. A treester bunny! A trower (flower)! A treeTart (sweeTart) for Valentine's. It could be a mountain top that holds up an American flag in July. I know you're very creative, and could come up with much better ideas than I just did. What I'm trying to say is, it's awesome. 💖💖💖
