I'll be tuning into these episodes as my wife and I are planning to visit Oita & Saga next winter. We've traveled to Kyushu twice already. It's a wonderful place with natural beauty, great food and friendly people.

Hey Solo, wow, the akaushi dish looked amazing and that egg was cooked to perfection, when I visit Kyushu next year that is definitely on my list to try. I love that you love rice because I love love love rice.

I am so very glad to hear that the castle was not beyond repair. It is an amazing and beautiful piece of historical architecture.

Based on what SJT and others have shown, you would have to be extremely unlucky to get a poor meal in Japan. I have a good track record of seeing the food on SJT and predicting if there will be the "!!".

Ah, so sad you did not get to eat kagoshima kuroi wagyu at ichi ni san in Amu plaza. It's my favourite place for kagoshima wagyu and kuroi buta shabu shabu.

Love your Videos..i´m from europe/germany...prices for travelling and food in Japan are so cheap, e.g. you´ll have to pay here 5€ to cross the River Rhine by ferry...😞...double cheeseburger at McDonalds 3,80€
