MUSIC: El Baile De Los Andes by Pangal & Gana LONG-TERM CAMP: This is the third/final video at the long-term winter camp. We set it up on the previous trips if you missed them. AUDIO: Something went wrong with the mic on the main cam for a bunch of shots (muffled, a few times recorded nothing). Used the action cam more than usual too and the DJI action 3 mics suck. Did my best to salvage it at home but some clips just don't sound right...sorry about that. Also got the worst piece of sensor dust of all time on day 6 🤦‍♂ But the best of the winter is yet to come. 10-day adventure next.

The music is great and reminds me of Iohan Gueorguiev's soundtrack selection when he was bikepacking through the South American snow. Some of the finest soundtrack work ever done on KZfaq, sadly it ran into copyright issues even though he was using it under license and I don't know if you can find it now, but the soundtrack music was Inti Illimani.

Amazing video! You two are such an adorable couple and work so well together and skate well too! Pro hockey technique. That was fun watching you both skate on the lake! Nice igloo! Erin really did an awesome job building and going solo in the igloo. Her chopping and splitting wood skills are second to none not to mention her ability to pull you from an icy death Jon. Easy choice to marry her! Great episode and editing as always. Nice work Erin!

I never get tired of hearing the ice popping in these videos. Such an intense sound. I wouldn’t sleep a wink if it was going on around me all night long! The igloo was so freaking cool. I know that was a crap ton of work, well done hanging in there both of you! The sense of accomplishment was well worth it I’m sure. I was shocked when you got on top of it! So cool. WOW! I have traveled quite a bit in my younger days, seen some beautiful country in the Yukon and beyond, and I tried in vain to capture the astonishing beauty of so many experiences, but my lord you’ll take it to another level, thank you for sharing your adventures with us! I’m 65 now, done a whole lot in my youth, only problem I have now is the only evidence exists in my memories, which isn’t bad mind you, just more difficult to share. So again, thank you for sharing such beauty! Oh I too have built a few igloos and yes it’s tricky

Both so artistically crafted and landscaped too! 😄 I was thinking that unfinished one was a perfect ice fishing wind break too, glad you got to use it, even if you didn't catch anything. I sure would want to spend a bunch of nights in the completed igloo too if I had worked that hard on it. What a fun week! Thank you for taking us along. 🏕

What a cool trip! That shot of the glowing blue igloo on the lake at night with the stars overhead was mesmerizing , and the (Peruvian?) flute music really lent a fitting touch to the picturesque scenes. Bravo to Erin for her resilience in not giving up on the igloo build and the sense of adventure in soloing overnight in it, twice! You two are renegades! 👏🏼

Erin is such a joy. Her drive and focus without which you never would have built the igloo. I’m with you Jon - quihnzee. Made one in Algonquin with the kids when they were young. Worked great but -30° - helped it sinter fast. Loved the drone “art” shots and cracking ice was a new one. Finally a dose of winter in a season of 💩. Thanks to both of you. 🤗

Erin's persistence pays off! Finally igloo success! Then to sleep it total commitment. Like having your own private mini ice hotel as they do in Quebec City. Kept thinking she was really braving it, especially with no bag o'scotch 😥. Now im just waiting for the game cam lynx footage, next time forsure, third times the charm!

This was extrodinary beautiful to watch. First of all you are such a sweet couple and watching you two together makes me smile. hearing those ice sounds is unbelievable. I´ve never heard that before, sound sureal! And you really made that trip like a holiday out of a dream: Ice skating, exploreing, fishing, building an iglu and sleep in it, hunting chaga, .... After how many seasons, you folks finally got that igloo made: awesome! I'm sure it's warmer than an arctic tent with a coleman stove. Once again, I noticed a few Army surplus items that Erin uses. That sleeping bag weights a ton but it does a great job of keeping you warm.

Always very cool to hear the ice popping on the lake. What an epc Igloo you folks constructed loved the drone footage of it looked like a challenging build but you did it. Why not try building more like an igloo cabin rather than the traditional dome form? Might be easier 🤔 I just love how you guy's genuinely enjoy each other's company & work as a team to get things done and most importantly you make each other smile & laugh ❤ all great signs of a healthy strong relationship.
