Got an Easter egg for you. In Midnight Fight Express, on the 10th level, you can find and fight Popeye. There’s no prerequisite, just get through the first 2 fights, and they’re will be a cutscene introducing him as “Sailorman”, followed by dialog about how he injected Spinach in his veins to bulk up.

Another interesting thing about the Grove Street in Cyberpunk, across the street there's a pair of npcs having conversation about the 6th Street gang that occupies the area but he called them Grove Street instead.

Atomic Heart has a bunch of easter eggs and references to the Bioshock franchise as it served as huge inspiration for the developers. One such easter egg is a terminally in the AoC, near the end of the game that tells the story of an Andrey Rayanovsky who was first dissappointed how things were run in this Fictional version of the USSR, so he went to America to also find himself disappointed how things were run there. Sonhe decided to build his own city in the Atlantic Ocean instead. Pretty neat reference to Bioshock 1 and its intro.

The Hitman Assassins Creed Easter Egg does work in World of Assassination, sometimes you have to avoid going near the guards before getting the disguise.

I don't know if you've covered this before, but in Psychonauts 2, using clairvoyance on Helmut Fullbear, voiced by Jack Black, will show you the world through Helmut's perspective and see Raz, the player character, dressed up like Eddie Riggs from Brütal Legend.

One of my favorite Easter eggs in Mr Hopps 3 also references a video game. You can find a secret area with Frisk’s sweater and a yellow flower referencing Undertale

My favorite game references are for the Monkey Island series. And there is one in one the Uncharted games where you can find a painting of someone who looks like Guybrush. And then there's another one in Hitman's latest level where you can find Guybrush's grave.

One video game detail that I like is in Injustice 2, in the game of course you can crouch in order to block the bottom of your body but one character doesn't do that, which is atom, instead of crouching he will instead shrink down a little bit because that is his supper power, it's a really neat detail

In the RE4 remake, after you rescue Ashley from the church, go back to the village chief’s house and go upstairs to the bedroom, behind one of the pictures on the wall is a lever to lower a ladder that you need Ashley to lower, once you get up there, you will find the treasure in a boarded off area. It’s an antique camera and this is the only place this appears. It’s most likely a Fatal Frame reference

I don’t know if you have covered this before, but in Super Bear Adventure there is a book (in the big house level) wich is called the Joke Book, when you look inside the book says “your the joke”. Keep doing what you do love your videos!

I don't know if it's considered as a reference, but in Saints Row: The Third (remastered or not) there is a DLC and a flying bike, called the Spectre which looks like the Opressor MkII from GTA V Saints row released the DLC before GTA added the Opressor and there's a funny tweet about Volition (Saints row developpers) which says "Who's copying who now?"

In Dyinglight 1 when you assault Rises first compound you can find a guard alone next to a table on the top floor you can find a pencil in the desk with blood around it

In Just Cause 3, the balloon head gun is a reference to dk mode in goldeneye 007 which gives everyone enlarged heads. I’m pretty sure you’ve already covered this one in a previous video, but I’m a huge fan of Just Cause 3 so I wanted to throw it out there for ya.

I'd love for you to do an episode based on the new Dead Island 2 game, although it only came out a few days ago I'm enjoying the game a lot and I'm very curious what type of Easter Eggs are around Hell-A. Something I really wanna know is if the Jogger from the 2014 trailer is somewhere in the game but so far I haven't seen anyone bring it up or even talk about Easter Eggs. Ok so something I'm not sure has been covered before (I could be very wrong) but in Far Cry 4 the description for one of the needles, name of which I fear I'd get wrong. The description for the needle references Bio Shock, the exact description I can't remember word for word but it's pretty cool

Here's an Easter Egg for you. In Splinter Cell Chaos Theory. In a mission where you have to disable a missile. Over the radio, your female ally will mention that you should use a crowbar to disable said missile. Sam will reply that he doesn't have one. In return, your ally will say " Only nerds carry crowbars. " That's a Half Life reference. Hope that helps.

The game Rage has a few easter eggs that are worth checking out. The opening scene where you are in the buggy has a doomguy bobblehead and in the mayor's office in wellsprings has a vaultboy bobblehead.

I think the Hitman/Assassin's Creed references was to be a subtle hint at crossover coming to Final Fantasy XV. Since the crossover has ended the line was removed from later versions.

In Dead Island 2, a goose you find un the first area of the game is an amalgamation of Faze Clan and the Paul Brothers along with the plaques on the walls being referenced to KZfaq's (Squirm) different level plaques given depending on the number of subscribers.

In Faith: Unholy Trinity when you do chapter 3, when you go inside the abandoned school you'll find three or four posters in the hallway when you pass ritual place The 2nd poster referencing a blood fueled robot that throw 4 quarters and shoot it with revolver I mean it does make sense since the game was made by the same dev who made old school style fps

In diablo 3, you can possibly find a dungeon that has clickers and runners from the last of us series and I was cool when if first found it but I don't know if you can find it anymore but it was a really cool Easter egg for the diablo series

Well, I know one, but I don’t think it counts as an Easter egg but it is still good and great. From the Like a Dragon Ishin! (2023) there is a substory that includes a dog. Well after you have helped that dog one time you can start building a bond with it by giving it food. After you have filled the bond meter, a lady will approach the player and she will tell about why the dog stays on the same spot and is always hungry. Without soiling to much, this is more of a reference to the famous dog in Japan who waited for its owner without knowing the owner had died. A very sad reference, but it is precisely.

In the game moonlighter during the part where you sell weapons and items there is a chance that cloud from ff7 dressed in his kingdom hearts armor shows up looking for swords

While not pertaining to any other games, I do know of an Easter egg in the VR game BoneLab. On the katana that is available in-game, near the base of the blade, you can see an inscription that says CoryXKenshin. I haven’t really seen anyone say anything about it, so I thought I might bring it to your attention

There is a detail in L4D2 and that is from common infected. If you listen closely to what they said before they gone feral on you, you can hear them mumbling that they are okay, or immune or something that feel like they are still human in them.

I don't know if you put these easter eggs for GTA 5 or not but i'll put them anyway. 1. In mission "Daddy's Little Girl" the dialogue changes based on how you drive. (if you drive normal nothing happened but if you hit multiple pedestrians it will change) 2. In mission "Doting Dad" there is a hidden dialogue if you took way too much time to get to Tracey.

In the Styx games, I cannot remember which one there is a mission to eliminate 3 assassins. All three of them have jumbled names from assassins creed and Dishonored. Each elimination prompts styx to make a joke about their careers and names.

Hi captain Eggcellent, for your next easter eggs video, on fifa 23, if you start a career mode as a manager of Afc Wrexham there is a special intro to the first match with The new owners. To get this easter egg, you need to start a new career mode save as a manager of wrexham with another manager or your own custom manager, and get into the first match of your career, there you will find a special intro by both ryan and rob lol. Much like the Wrexham vs Liverpool easter egg this one tickles you in a good way ! Love the vids btw!

In dead island 2 the crowbar description is a reference to Half-life by mentioning that the weapon is good to stopping an alien invasion or a zompocalypes.

So as ive never played ghost of tsushima i dont know where specifically but i know theres a whole shrine area that is chalk full of references to Bloodborne which is so rare to find in games or anything. I personally think there should be more Monster Hunter and Bloodborne references in games as i cant find any

In Deep Rock Galactic, there's a craftable beer you can buy called the Blackreach Blonde which is a reference to a dwarven stronghold in Skyrim called Blackreach. Another craftable beer called Flintlocke's Delight references Fargo Flintlocke from World of Warcraft who is a dwarf that loves causing explosions, when you drink the beer you explode.

I wish some games would have "John 117" as Easter Eggs. I do know that Duke Nukem had a HALO reference to the iconic Master Chief. But I think that's the only one I saw that had Master Chief in it as an Easter Egg.

My thinking for the Hitman easter egg being changed could be the publisher being changed from Square Enix to being self published by I/O. There's probably some legal mumbo jumbo that has to be there for them to say the name of the game and SE probably had the resources to do that, whereas a self published may not.

hey captain eggcelent i found 2 easter eggs in super bear adventure they are both in the huge house level onein on the second floor on the bothem of the nightstand and for the other one go in the toilet on the second floor and turn around in the water there wil be a hole go in it and you wil find it

Dead island 2 has some references to there other games like homefront on arcade machine in the content creation house in the games room as well as a reference to star fox in the movie studio lot with wolfs eye patch and boots on a poster

I just came to inform that in newest game Dead Island 2 got an Easter egg 🥚 which is found in Actress's house where there's is Movie poster Named 'Rise of the god Spider' which is ofcourse Easter egg to tomb raider series. Resemble of (Rise of the tomb raider)

I found a Hidden Detail in the PS4 game "Ghost of Tsushima". If you bow (most controls bind this as a swipe-down on the dualshock's touchpad) when standing next to a deceased Japanese peasant or samurai anywhere across the island, your character - Jin Sakai, a samurai and clan-lord - will say some words about the deceased individual. The character will typically talk about how they deserved better, call fallen samurai "brother" alongside some parting words, or how the peasant did *not* deserve the pain they'd have likely endured before their death. I've gotten this to work when bowing next to hanging, laid down and slumped-over samurai, and peasants that are laid down, hanged and burnt at wooden poles (stakes). I believe this counts as a hidden detail as the bowing mechanic/control is essentially purposeless gameplay-wise; other than it capturing the Japanese method of showing respect - with G.o.T being really heavy on respect, and honour.
