I sometimes get stacks of cardstock where there are two sheets of each pattern, one foiled, one regular. I think your example of how to use a background cutting die will be perfect for creating a special effect with those coordinating card stocks. Thanks for the inspiration!

something that could be used for "layers" without having to cut several is to use craft foam. I'm so glad I found you on YT. I've thoroughly enjoyed watching ... AND learning ... some unique techniques.

Your videos have a wonderful air of authenticity and friendliness.😉 Seeing your ideas and mishaps that end up being beautiful works of art or paper hugs(as cards are) just reminds us we can make great stuff too...oops and all. PS LOVE the background die hack. Any way to extend the use of these more costly dies the better.

Sometime try substituting a layer of craft foam instead of all the layers of cardstock. Saves having to do all that cutting/stacking/gluing and works great with your dies.

Lovely cards as ever - particularly like the multicoloured eclipse card. How do you manage to stack those die-cuts so neatly? Mine are always all over the place - they end up a real mess!
