When our family saves up enough money for this trip I’m so glad I know how both high-quality and inexpensive convenience stores in Japan are. I can already tell it’ll help us out a lot because, while we like to plan things to do, we tend to forget to plan what to eat.

I LOVED the 7-11 hamburger steak meal such a great breakfast, lunch, or dinner item in a pinch! I was also so amazed at how soft and moist the sandwich bread is.

Hi Junjiro and Akanemaru, I love these voices too. They are the iconic voices for Samurai Junjiro Channel. I have been enjoying your videos as I prepare for my family trip to Tokyo in 2 months time, thank you for showing us what we can look forward to! Wondering if you could make a video introducing souvenirs we can buy from Haneda Airport (preferably Terminal 3) back home to give to our colleagues? If possible, it will be helpful if the items are: 1) non-edibles preferred (eg fridge magnets, snow globes etc. But food items are fine too) 2) 600 yen or lower each (if not possible, 800 yen or lower might be ok too) 3) Categorised by location? (Eg Haneda Airport Garden, level number etc) Thanks for reading. May you and your loved ones stay hydrated in this hot weather and stay well!

A Japanese company bought out the American 7-11 in Japan in 1993 I believe. It’s not a US company.

That’s a supermarket thing. Life or OK in Tokyo, and my favorite Tamade in Osaka. It depends, all the inventory is different depending on the store.

You forgot the other most important thing which is the ATM for cash withdrawal. Also, unless you bought something from the store the staff won't let you throw your trash in their bins.

In Tokyo they are a bit strict about that, in other cities it’s more relaxed. But I wouldn’t be obvious about it.

It would be so embarrassing if someone tried to do something similar with 7-11s in Canada 😂😂 We have NOTHING as interesting or as novel as in Japan. There was a 7-11 near Okayama station that came to my rescue once. My work shirt got a huge stain on it and I didn't know what to do. I was in a panic because I didn't want to look unprofessional. I went into the 7-11 to get myself a fruits'au'lait drink, and ...there it was...a white dress shirt in my size (and I'm a big guy)!!! This sort of story never happens in a Cnaadian 7-11.
