Welcome and in this video I will show you my 7 favourite dump finds that i upcycled in 2021. These are all fabulous trash to treasure decor pieces that I couldn\'t believe someone thru in the dump!! I brought them home and upcycled them and I think they all turned out fantastic!! Hope you enjoy!

Loved all of these! I just found a large ornament frame to make a pegboard! Absolutely love that idea💕. I wish our dumps in the US would allow us to pick ☹️it would make such a difference to save all the good stuff🤦‍♀️

Some dumps allow it. I think that varies by where youre at. Most , sadly ,do not. But there is a place near my home where folks take metal, and they basically just wont say anything. Dont think its supposed tobe allowed but they just turn their head, lol. My husband had a friend who worked the back of the trash truck and omg, you wouldnt believe the things he ran across. From furniture, to jewelry, to perfectly working appliances , to money. Yes, actual money in the trash. I dont think folks pay enough attention when they throw stuff away.

Our town and many others nearby have what’s called “Take it or leave it” structure/space at the recycling center. I was there one day and a lady was dropping off two perfectly good large tomato planters with the trellises and I grabbed them before someone else could.

Love the lamp shade. The bench is awesome. Love how you didn't paint over the wood. The graphics and the yellow that was left on the surface just finish it off.

I get visions too when I see old stuff. My favorite words when I see an auction sale bill are "barn finds" and "jewelry." lol I also redo in my mind when I go to thrift stores. Yes that older stuff has more character than new. I can't handle "cookie cutter newest fad" decor. You do great work. Everything on my home came from auctions or thrift store.

the cabinet was not only dusty and grimy. it was also badly thought: the door is at least 10 inches narrower than the inner space. it makes for a really complicated usage. the door though, was amazing! I love this kind of shutter type doors for cupboards!! as for the pegboard? I always felt your smashed planters are begging to go on one 🤪 and yes, you totally inspired me, as always!! I'm decoupaging my coffee table which is not only real, hard, chuncky wood, is also made with a lot of metal bits, in a medieval style! the only weathered aspect is the paint marks the kids made on it when they were todlers (and didn't keep the plastic cover on when they painted on it, 'cause "sorry mom, it's just too beautiful to cover it up!") again, thanks for sharing!

Oh my goodness! I am thankful thankful thankful that I found your channel! You have shown me things that will make my life much easier. I am a crafter, photographer, junk scavenger, major collector, I have always had a creative side.. seems I see things in junk immediately when I see them on the side of the road or in a thrift store. I finally found a channel with extreme useful ideas! Normally I feel on some of these channels they are just plain out boring because I have already done these things years ago.. so when I give a compliment I truly do mean it! Again thank you so much! Having a pick up truck is handy to take advantage of free items. I brought home a 5 drawer, all wood chest of drawers that took less than twenty minutes to repair and remove some stickers.

Loved them all especially the cans & bench!!! Myself I would have to have a shabby chic pillow top for bench seat made from worn out old & faded pretty flowered material. Also the lampshade, I would have never thought to mod podge that!! I would have used my gorilla glue spray adhesive but it worked for you!!!

Love the dresser peg board idea. This would work well in a kid's room. They could hang toys, jee ! I had just placed a lampshade into the donatwelry maybe even backpack. Or make the top piece into a bulletin board. Love it . Oh my Word the lampshade ! I placed a lampshade into the to be donated box in my front hallway. I am pulling it back out !

The bench is fantastic. Is it a storage bench too? This has so much potential to be many different things. Longer legs for a work bench. Add a drop leaf for more surface work space when needed. So much more versitility. Great find from friends. 👍🏻🙏♥️🇺🇲

I am so envious of your dump. We don’t actually have dumps here, but when I lived in Kansas we did, and there was nothing remotely like what you are finding in yours!

You are fabulous. I do this too . My family laughs at me but if I see the potential in things I make it work. I've lived art all my life and I have a passion to make things. It really bothers me when people throw things out that can be fixed. Good going and keep it up. And so will I

I love all of these projects. I painted two tiered end tables to match our window trim for outside end tables on the patio. I was almost going to seal when i had sanded them down. A very well done project of heavy pine someone hand made. Maybe one day I'll sand them back again. So far our home and main patio is pretty formal. If you work your way past the guest cottage and to my sewing studio (3 buildings gained in our retirement move) everything gets more eccectic! Im slowly getting my partner to understand trash is treasure. This past summer he just started doing two of my eccectic projects planned for yard himself and exactly who i would!
