@thedoad6211 I think you misunderstand the comment, dude. He's not dissing Heartwork or dissing the riff or band at all, he's just surprised to see it called grind because general concensus is that the album is Melodic Death Metal. He's not hating dawg, just pointing out that the riff doesn't belong as it's a melodeath riff

@@thedoad6211 Wow, you can't even handle an actual argument on your own without that classic metalhead etilist style. In fact, Heartwork isn't grindcore, it's melodic death metal. Seek for every metal site/review sites, or even shitty sites like Wikipedia that will describe them as melodic death metal. HOWEVER, Carcass was grindcore on their early days, on the release of the debut full-length ROP and then SOS.

Lol'd at Heartwork. I mean, I'd understand Reek Of Putrefaction or Exhume To Consume, but this is straight up melodic death metal. And Twist The Knife is more of a groove/death metal song, rather than a grindcore one.

Yeah heartwork and twist the knife aren’t exactly grind but both of those bands are grindcore bands so it works

Well the genre is pretty important when the title of the video is iconic grindcore riffs. A bit weird to click on this video expecting grindcore and the first thing you hear is melodic death metal
