Great video and my dad carries 4 pocket knives he has since I was little and he got me into stockman knives and case knives very great to see people still carry traditional pocket knives!

Here is an idea... donated edc... like all my edc has been given to me like an arch angel tactical pen... a no name flash light from Amazon that I ordered but asked for a refund and they gave me my refund but said keep the light... a coast knife that a buddy at work gave me it's a fx352...I a wallet that was given to me last Christmas... and my in laws bought me a note 8...

I’ve been carrying the Gerber MP600 Bladeless for a few weeks now. I can’t carry a blade at work and I don’t really like blades on multitools anyway, so this works great. It’s an awesome tool. The scissors are first rate. A big plus is that all the tools lock in place.

Only time the blade on my letherman gets used is when I lend it to someone. I'm with you, I prefer a stand alone knife to multi tool blades.

I do wish this one had scissors. But the only other models I've seen replace the Phillips head screwdriver with a corkscrew, which I explicitly do not want.

I got the tech tool 4 city. Its my classy knife mostly carried on date nights. Love the black g10 but i do take the pocket clip off and carry it in my belt sheath.

I was kinda surprised to see a lock-pick kit in Jordan Gonzales' EDC - dont get me wrong, I keep a kit in my vehicle all the time, and have one in each of my bug-out bags, but I really didnt expect to see that in an entry, and thought I was weird for having them lol. Surprisingly they have come in handy a multitude of times (exclusively for legal use).

I remember reading somewhere that for a knife to be EU legal it has to either be non-locking OR two-handed open, so even the locking Opinels should be legal (which makes sense considering they originated in France)

Traditional pocket knives are wonderful carry tools & ultra non-offensive. They have a very nostalgic feel and if they’ve been effective for my Dad & Grandpa, they’re surely fine tools for me. I work in business-to-business sales and I have to be concise about my EDC. Case, Great Eastern Cutlery, (old school) Schrade & Swiss Army Knives are my go-to choices. Keep up the great videos! 🤟🏼

As a "frenchy" i have to say, that the Opinels are crap. A little bit of sand, and the locking mechanism is history. Water? No way, the handle swells (not the plastic handles, of course) and you will never be able to open or close the knife again. I own(ed) several of them and only two remain (forever opened and locked) in a drawer in my kitchen. Every other knife i have survives the beach (more or less), but not the Opinels. Even the N°08 "marine" version sucks in that environment. I always wondered how these knives became so emblematic.

gawd, I hate Field Notes. It's so over-hyped and self-important. And as a fountain pen user, you can just forget about that paper. ugh.

I use Clairefontaine 7.5cm x 12.5cm notebooks. Smaller than field notes (important because I don't wear baggy trousers), better paper (FP-friendly), and much cheaper too where I'm from. They also use a grid, which I like.
