Here are some of the best vitamins that can help repair nerve damage.
7 Incredible Vitamins To Repair Nerve Damage
(I may earn commissions for purchases made through the links below.)
7. Vitamin B12 (Cobalamin) ➡️ amzn.to/3UsvZtY
Vitamin B12 is essential for nerve cell metabolism. It aids in the production of myelin, which acts as insulation around nerves. It can help protect against oxidative stress and improve symptoms of peripheral neuropathy and other types of nerve damage.
6. Vitamin E ➡️ amzn.to/3JViDS0
Vitamin E helps the immune system fight infections that can harm nerve cells and tissues. It is an antioxidant, which means it reduces oxidative stress and inflammation in areas with nerve damage. It has also been shown to help protect neurons, or nerve cells, from toxic substances and can improve the function of nerves damaged by a stroke or peripheral neuropathy.
5. Alpha Lipoic Acid (ALA) ➡️ amzn.to/3wtVHq8
Alpha lipoic acid or ALA for short, is a naturally occurring compound found in a variety of foods, including spinach and broccoli. It can help protect cells from oxidative damage caused by free radicals. ALA may reduce inflammation and improve nerve function by neutralizing free radicals.
4. Thiamine (Vitamin B1) ➡️ amzn.to/4absqhE
Thiamine is an antioxidant and fat-soluble form of vitamin B1. It helps to protect cells from the damaging effects of high blood sugar levels, oxidative stress, and inflammation. It has been used as a supplement to treat diabetes-related nerve pain, inflammation in diabetic kidney disease, eye problems related to diabetes, and more.
3. Omega-3 Fatty Acids (EPA+DHA)➡️ amzn.to/3UQjqKn
Omega-3 fatty acids have been shown to help repair and protect nerve cells, leading to improved nerve function. Studies suggest that these fatty acids can reduce inflammation in the body which is often associated with nerve damage.
2. Magnesium sulfate ➡️ amzn.to/4bxheNx
Magnesium sulfate is a mineral that is found in the body, and it helps the nerves work in a number of ways. It protects nerves from damage caused by reactive oxygen species (ROS), which can lead to oxidative stress and can help calm you down and relax your nerves, which could be helpful for people with anxiety or sleep problems.
1. Curcumin ➡️ amzn.to/3ymn060
Curcumin is a component of the spice, turmeric, which has many health benefits. It is a powerful antioxidant that can help protect against nerve damage and other damage caused by free radicals. Curcumin may also make nerve damage less painful and reduce inflammation and pain.

My father was diagnosed with gastric cancer back in june 2019. Had a total gastrectomy in August of that year. Then 26 rounds of radiation therapy along with chemo pills. December 2019 he went on remission. Then on early March 2020 he started to feel really sick again. They told him the cancer had returned and took his intestines. He was 80 and too weak for chemo or another surgery. They put a feeding tube on his belly and sent him home. He passed April 2020. It was devastating. Since he was an old man, his chances of overcoming this cancer were narrow. But in your case, being young can help. I hope you heal and never give up. Wish you good health.

I have nerve damage from spinal issues which has worsened along with muscle cramps. I started taking magnesium and ALA and I no longer am awakened by severe leg cramps. Surprisingly, my cholesterol has dropped to below 200, which it never has been since my mid 20’s. I had been on statins for years but stopped because of muscle pain. My cholesterol didn’t really increase much but my LDL was increasing. My doctor started me on a statin again in 2020 without seeing much change. I started the ALA in the Fall of 2021 and by Spring of 2022 it had dropped and after being on it a year my total cholesterol dropped almost 100 points and my LDL had also lowered. I haven’t changed my diet and I have become more inactive due to my health issues and attribute the change to ALA. if it remains low on the next check up, I will stop the statin to see if it remains low. My cholesterol has NEVER been this low in 40 years. I wish more was mentioned about this benefit of ALA and not just for helping nerve pain.

@@chintirobby192 I take Alpha Lipoic Acid with Biotin Optimizer. The serving size is 3 capsules with a meal which would be 600mg of ALA, but I take only one capsule on an empty stomach at bedtime. The manufacturer is Horbaach. I haven’t had side effects and am not diabetic but I take a lower dose. I also take 400 mg of magnesium glycinate at bedtime, so my leg cramps have become very infrequent and are very mild. The bonus was the cholesterol reduction despite being on various statin medications. I had stopped them at one point because of leg cramps and eventually put back on a different brand of statin because of my high cholesterol. I am having my annual check up again and if it has stayed below 200 I am dropping the statin.

The power of You Tube! Here is 1one you may not know is if you do not have enough vitamin K2 Calcium will be deposited into your heart and blood vessels rather than your bones. As a result bones become more brittle as vascular tissues becomes less flexible. The end result is blood pressure goes up. These conditions become more prominent in old age if never corrected. 😉

Do not trust everything that your doctors negatively tell you about supplements. For example, they often say "don't" but offer no sharp reasoning why. Sometimes the doctor "feels" what he tells you, but offers no more than that. Even specialists can be dead wrong, or behind the times, or simply lazy. If you need to, consult a second physician unaffiliated with your physician for another opinion, which your insurer will usually pay for. Doctors are primarily in their profession as a great way to make money, meaning the more they keep you on medications, the better their bottom line. I've been the victim of a doctor's mistakes with meds more than once, and I now catch some mistakes before they're made on me or people I care for. Don't be an easy victim. A particular doctor is only a possible improvement on your troubles, but not always THE answer to them. The wrong doctor can keep you suffering needlessly for years or even take years off of your life. I have a law degree, once passed a bar exam, and worked in law firms for years, meaning I don't know everything, but I've learned a lot about "professionals" who are, in the end, only people; who DO make mistakes even in their professions. It's why the concepts of ethics and malpractice exist in every profession, because those, such as doctors and lawyers, DO make mistakes that cause clients/patients to suffer. Take this or leave it. It's YOUR life.

Hi Vee Elle, I'm so glad to hear that this video has been helpful for you. It can be tough going through chemo and dealing with the side effects, but it's great that you're looking for natural ways to support your body. Eating a balanced diet with plenty of nutrient-rich foods is always a good idea, and I'm glad that the list provided in the video has been helpful for you. Just make sure to check with your healthcare team before adding any new foods or supplements to your diet, especially while undergoing chemo. They can help ensure that everything is safe and won't interfere with your treatment. Wishing you all the best on your journey to healing!

That's great to hear that your Optipack of vitamins has many of the important nutrients discussed in the video. Curcumin is a wonderful addition to any supplement regimen, but it's always good to check with your healthcare provider before adding any new supplements to your routine. Thanks for watching and sharing your feedback!

Doctors are trained within the medical model. Big money in handing out medical prescription. You have to go to a holistic doctor. Many of whom have swapped their medical role for holistic ‘medicine’. , with great results too, Modern medicine does help but there are so many side effects.

I've been taking Doctor's Best Benfotiamine 150+ Alpha-Lipoic Acid 300 for several years and drastically cut down on sugar. The toes and fingers are totally cured (I'd say in remission). Easy ordering thru Amazon. At times I thought I was thoroughly cured and stopped taking it only to start it up again to help all my nerves. Also, try growing your own turmeric. Ginger too. It's so satisfying. 😊
