Gonna have to heavily disagree with you on the suits my man. Sure, even though the place to be wearing them has been dying down since covid, they will always be a timeless piece. Every gentlemen in my opinion should have at least one tailored suit in their wardrobe.

Great tips - by Alex. “Crocs” are comfortable, especially when walking around the house, and they will probably always be around… And I’m not a “Crocs hater”, but it’s enough already, this is all you see people wear now, even when out and about. I understand wearing them around your house, or apartment - but in public?! If you are doing this, you should definitely reconsider - it’s not a good look! Unless you’re a 5 year old… then go for it! Suits are timeless but the shift towards casual cannot be denied. I've been noticing it here in India, the shift is on the less formal side now, towards comfort dressing.

I totally think suits are here to stick around, but I do agree that wearing a suit is different now. It used to be that people wore suits because they HAD to, but now sartorial gentlemen wear them because they WANT to!

Love the IWC watch. 7in wrist I'd recommend 38mm-42mm. Every half inch wrist size up, add a mm. For every half inch down subtract a mm. So if you have a 6.5"in wrist, 37mm-41mm would be a good fit. Also look for the: lug tip to lug tip measurement. And figure that on to your wrist as well. You may find a 38mm watch that fits your wrist but it has a 49mm lug to lug measurement, and the lugs would hang off of your wrist.. not a great look

I agree with the rest of the items. But I disagree with suits. Because there are occasions where it is perfectly acceptable to wear suits. Especially when you work in the business world, bank and restaurant. Suits are my favorite clothes. I can wear it whatever I want and when I go out. Not everyday but often.

Alex is on point about watches, the dinner plates have no business on anyones wrist. But the suit thing feels a bit off. I feel like he could have talked about being over dressed in a suit at the wrong occasion or finding ways to look formal without going full-suit which is certainly helpful. Sure It’s not trendy to wear a suit every day, but knowing how and when to wear a (properly fitted/tailored) suit is an absolutely vital piece of knowledge for any man, even if you’re not into dressing up all that often.

I'm studying for be lawyer and definitly a suit a essential item for us. I think sometimes you can wear a blazer (to be more casual). Other think that i see is that not all lawyers know how combine o know how to wear a suit.

Kind of surprised about the Yeezy comment. They are not nearly as egregious as some of the other items on the list. But I'm glad he clarified more specifically they don't work as well in the streetwear lane anymore. I think they would still look awesome with athleisure though, or pairing them up with more timeless, classic looks.

The world becoming more casual and men wearing suits less just makes me want to wear them even more as it makes you stand out. Purposely downgrading your style in order to fit in does the exact opposite. Plus there are certain events where a suit is pretty much mandatory.

Agree that there is a shift towards business casual but suits shouldn't be on a "shouldn't wear in 2022 list". They will always be a timeless piece and never go out of style.

Hi Alex. I am a Real Estate Realtor and I wear a suite daily pretty much every day Monday to Thursday. I have succeeded in getting listings over opposition agents dressing more casually, I also get compliments daily from clients. So guess I will continue wearing my suits.🤣🤣💪😄

@Alex Costa Bro about the suits, I agree with the fact that it won't be a appealing look in a common day and I'm saying this because ig nobody wants to see someone at a workplace in a whole tuxedo or a 3 piece suit. But still I believe that when we talk about an occation, such as a wedding or a big opportunity, that does call for a good professional looking suit. But that's just an opinion from my side and I'm sure a lot of people would be agreeing with me and maybe some would also think a bit in the opposite direction, but that's what fashion is ig, a collection of thoughts.

Crocs, Dr. told me to wear them around the house after developing plantar fasciatis in my feet since my house is all hardwood and tile. It fixed the problem. Just saying.

I work at a bank in Chicago and can confirm people aren't wearing suits as much now. Although when you do see someone downtown wearing a suit, it still does catch eyes (in a good way)

Thing about crocs/sandals is they have their use. Some people I know who had horrible accidents with their legs wear them as it’s simpler till they actually recover

I’m with you man. I used to wear baggy pants back when I was in middle school and high school because I was a skateboarder and huge dickies were part of skate culture since the 90’s. But as I got older, i realized they don’t look good on me and slim pants will always be the move. Who cares about trends.

I love the Levi’s 505, it’s very comfortable, and much roomier compared to other Levi’s jeans - such as the Levi’s 501. Especially around the thigh area, which is what I imagine a lot of people might want… I wear 33-34, and I love the fit - they feel spectacular! So if you’re looking for a bit of extra room in the thigh, and the ankle section, they’re perfect! Anyway, that’s my two cents. -Carlos Verde - Dating Tips

I disagree with the suit take ofc, but I also disagree with the 350 V2 take. Jordans, Dunks and Nike in general has taken over now and 350 V2s and Yeezys in general have become muuuuch rarer than they were some time ago. What I do think though, is that Yeezys shouldn’t be worn as a hype sneaker or as a statement piece anymore, they should be worn more like any other athletic shoe in the market.

Now this list I agree with but besides my SNR Ball and a course I went to that had a dinner night I've never worn a suit and see no need to for me having one cause of my life style. Also I personally try not to follow trends Cause they would cost me money and I'm more of a chill person when it comes to clothes but lately have tried to at least make sure I have some nice clothes ect.
