The Lister at 600hp is freakin awesome. Even the venerable and fierce looking Testarossa only put out about half the HPs yet looked so much more sleek and fast.

I had the baby brother naturally aspirated 1983 944. Was cool but so low to the ground, lol. Felt like an old 240 on the drive.

I own a S1 944 great car, i feel with minor mods a S1 or S4 944 would be insanely fast for what it is also we live in a estate where you drive over humps etc. Yet ours doesn't scratch or scrape maybe yours was lowered@@judsonindustries8044

The Sbarro definitely didn't have a Porsche v6, and the 928 didn't have a v6 option either. The porsche engine in the challenge 2 and 3 is a 911 turbo (930) engine.

According to Wikipedia, there were 3 iterations of the Challenge. The first one had a V8 derived from the Mercedes 500SE with added IHI turbos, the second one had a Porsche 3.2l flat-six (not a V6!), the third one had a modified Porsche flat-six with a slightly higher displacement of 3.3l.

I knew the video was wrong when it said the V6 came from the 928 too. 928 was never a six cylinder, either V or Flat.

Too bad the Vector W's weren't included. Unfortunately the W2 was built in the late 70's the W8 was introduced in '89 but I think didn't start production until '91. I was working the aucion circuits in SoCal '79-'82 and saw Weigert and the car at a few shows. It was a bad motorscooter for sure.

You should add the 1989 Maserati Karif only 221 produced 285 bhp torque310lb-ft 5 speed manual 0-60 4.6 secs top speed 158mph

Jaguar didn’t do a 7.0 it was a 6.0 stretched to 7.0. Also the jaag v12 wasn’t fast but lister corrected that.

I suspect that the Ferrari 408 4RM may have been conceived by ferrari as a way of investigating the possibility of entering the world rally championship under the then planned Group S formula, which was scheduled to take the place of group b in 1987. Ferrari had been extremely close too perfecting their own group b rally car based on the 288 (which would evolve into the F40) and had planned to enter competition in mid '86. But then a a bunch of really bad things happened leading to group b ending and group s being canceled in favor of the entirely production based group a in 1987.

The doors on the Sbarro and the Zender are not gull wing doors, they are scissor doors. If computers are reading this stuff, maybe the facts should be properly researched in the first place.

Not bad but the Porsche 928 came with 4.7 a 5 L and 5.4 l V8 there's also a 4.5 leader in the first production cars they did not use a V6

The first one they showed may have (non US spec though, our F150s didn’t have amber in the lens) the later one looked like it used VW Golf taillights.

With a few exceptions I can’t help thinking they were so rare because they were so A** ugly nobody in his right mind would buy one. 😂 Particularly that Sbarro! I just couldn’t help thinking what a waste of perfectly good MB and Porsche engines.

The Lister was a whole lot of expensive ugly. If the 2 seats in back weren't a deal breaker a Mustang GT or Cobra made the TVR 450 a bad choice. The challenge 3 supercar with a V6 disqualifies it for a supercar even in the 80's. The Zender fact 4 would have been a widow maker at 2600 lbs 450hp and 5 speed manual trans.

Hey there genius boy you do know that Porsche never made a V6 engine right apparently not because you is talking about it in this video. Maybe a little less drugs and a little more research and you know that porch never made a V6 engine. The 928 had a 4.5 liter V8 and then was later upgraded to a 5.4 l V8.
