I'm a little bummed at Earthen. We have so many humanoid races we've befriended. I've personally wanted Tuskarr since I saw them in Warcraft 3. But Dwarf #3 is kind of a cop out as the solo announced race.

I like the focus on solo content, especially making solo stuff for the vault is something ive wanted forever. And making more stuff account wide is also great. The only element i would say that is not a obvious win by default are the Hero talents. That can go either way. I think people expect more from the talents than what Blizzard has planned, especially based on the names they have given the specs. What they have shown us so far has basically been some minor changes to existing skills. Of course its still early so it might change, we also havent seen much details yet. One thing i really wished they would make is the possibility to be a holy/non-shadow dps priest and play it as a dps role. They can do that with these hero talents, like instead of Archon make one called Inquisitor and have it buff your dps but reduce your healing and shield spells. But it seems like they are not aiming for something that transformative. Personally i hope they go for things that make a bigger impact in playstyle and visuals. Hope it doesnt end up feeling like the 3 hero specs could as well have been three branches on the class tree.

Dynamic flying in druid flight form would be amazing

The entirety of the "new race" could basically have been a patch with new Dark Iron customizations. Such a waste

Vrykul would have been a better option. Some might same "oh there just tall humans" but it's obvious their just different enough to distinguish themselves as something else.

I really liked the Warbands system, but I would greatly appreciate it if the option to organize my achievements came with this system. It would be a great way to combat my OCD.

Still holding out hope that naga, ogres, and tuskarr get to become playable races..... but I do like what I see.

I like how the Earthen are just reskinned dark iron dwarves, I wonder when we're actually going to get a new race instead of just re-skinning the old ones

I'm excited for the login screen being a group visual hope that stays tbh and the warband features. The amount of alts I have to farm specific mog for armour types/class restrictions is a bit much lol.

I really hope we get playable Nerubians during the expansion.

We should be able to start off the new expansion having flight at the start. Because we already have flight Underground as it is

What i hope for that we can choose mire than 4 Chars for our Warbands, i have a Char for every Class and i love to play them all :)

I just really hope they lock Flying behind aa Pathfinder achievment again,cause it really frustrating to fly around from the beginning.

Still waiting to be able to play as a Vrykul. After that, the Venthyr race when they introduce a vampire class.

The more I learn about delves, the more I'm starting to like them. I'm mainly a solo player with limited time to play. I like running dungeons and raids, but don't always have the time to que for them on the days that I work. Delves are going to be the perfect system for me on the days I don't have time to que for dungeons or raids. Now warbands I've loved from the get-go. FINALLY a way for me to pass gold to my other toons on an opposing faction's server. I main Horde, but my hubby--when he plays--- is Alliance so I rolled some toons over there to play with him, but he's stopped playing and that side doesn't receive the 'love' that it should....lol. I just enjoy playing Horde more, but sometimes I need a change of scenery so I play Alliance from time to time. And I want to keep up my characters incase my husband feels the urge play again cause he does come back from time to time. Depends on how bored he is with his other games. 😁

I wouldn't consider new dungeons, raids, and zones "features." I am excited for delves. But overall a bit disappointed by how little this expansion is offering. I didnt expect a new class, but it wouldve been nice considering how lame evokers turned out, yet I was hoping for a housing system, especially with how many times Holly said "home" at blizzcon. War within looks pretty standard fare and tame. At least they aren't pushing resources towards temporary features/borrowed power that they will ditch after the expansion is over.

I've been wanting Tuskarr for a long time and I'm sad we don't have them yet, or maybe ever. Just would be fun. I wish we didn't get another reskin of Dwarves, even though I absolutely love them. Kinda wish it was an option for Dark Iron like the options for Draenei recently, instead of another new race, but that might just be me. I am curious to know what the other race they haven't revealed yet will be though and I'm sure I'll end up making an Earthen and trying it out

I've been playing this game for 20 yrs, I love WoW...but there are somethings that I don't care for which is fine but it's so nice to see you speak positively about the game and get excited for the upcoming War Within expansion, such a nice change from all the negative toxic bullshit 😁

Normal flying should be allowed right from the get-go in the next expansion. Because if I can fly in Deepholm, which is essentially the ultimate area that's considered to be Underground, I should be able to fly anywhere Underground immediately

Not super keen on the Hero talents, because you know there is going to be a 'correct' choice so what's the point? And I do get that not everyone plays the meta build just because it's the best (for example I don't play the rush/retreat build on my DH because I find so much movement annoying) but if they're going to do this specifically for class fantasy then throughput should not be a factor at all.

It all looks interesting, I'm surprised though there was no word on crafting. Are they sticking with the DF crafting system or ??? I've yet to see anything anywhere about it.

From my understanding, all gear and weapons can be xmog!! You can't use gear that isn't meant for you but you now have the option to have the appearance!! I.E I'm a druid and I farmed, and finally obtained Thunderfury, Blessed Blade of the Windseeker! I did not know that I had to equip that sword in order to get the Feat of Strength! So, it's just sitting in my bank! How very, very cool it will be to have that xmog!!

Can they remove the aoe cap on specs so not just the 5 air uncapped specs can push above +25s?

The Earthen seem like a cross between Duergar and Genasi races from D&D. You said that their model will be taller than normal Dwarves? Ive always thought the Dwarf models should have been a bit taller. Their armor would look better and it would make them seem more imposing. Keep the burlyness, but just up the height a bit. We'll see what the Earthen look like in motion.

Man it the same thing as usually.. new dungeon, new raid, and level cap. Once you hit cap level, do pvp or pve until you geared.. Omg I’m soo “excited “

I don't know what went through their mind thinking announcing dwars for the start of expansion will be excited news for both factions and to top it off they announced at blizzcon lolol....

I'm still surprised over the fact that the technology in the WoW world is VERY CLEARLY evolving to a point slightly above steampunk, with ships, planes, guns, explosives, etc. Yet we still haven't got a class that capitalizes on this lore buildup as a gimmick. We really, REALLY need a mail class with ranged DPS damage.

If they doesnt make Warbands into something player housing-esque, they are missing a great opportunity. Id also like seamlessly shifting between alts, but that will never happen...

Wow, i spoke about the hero specilization in 2004 after playing Mountin King in WC3. Can't believe how long it's taken.

i am so excited for warbands IF it's truly 'accountwide' and not 'accountwide-within-region'. i have so many awesome mogs and mounts trapped on EU servers that my NA characters could really use, and it'd be so nice to see my old main and my new main on the same screen.

The Earthen are the original dwarfs.

The new Allied Race is an utter joke. Adding Dwarves to the Horde just upends a lot of the Faction clarity that's already been marred by the elf-swap from Legion/BFA. They should really just be a new set of cosmetics (and maybe even racial skill set choices) for Alliance Dwarves. All same-model races should be rolled together in their respective Faction.

The zones look absolutely stunning, much better than Dragonflight zones. I really like the aesthetic. That being said, for me the fun is pretty much determined by how the combat gameplay and the gameplay loop turn out. Really feel like Dragonflight started out strong but then the amount of meaningless open world events coupled with unsatisfying gearing really dampened my fun. Additionally, they completely abandoned PvP which is a huge part for me. If I can enjoy PvP and M+ again with fun a fun open world, I will definitely keep playing.

Didn't they specifically say that class specific transmogs aren't included? So that you couldn't get a Paladin set on a Warrior? Could've sworn I heard that.

Warbands and Delves got me very hyped.

I've said it before and Ill say it again. Add ability to halt xp gain from anywhere, Add difficulty overworld slider (debuff mech like Lotro), add housing (eq2/Rift), and they just might start to retain/gain player base. Otherwise, they continue to wither.

Please update crafting order system or allow us to place crafting orders to alts on other servers please.

We need account-wide reputation! And pls bring atleast 2 playstyles per spec. For example i hate glacial frostmage gameplay. Would be super nice if there would be a 2. playstyle. If i could wish: Permapet talents so frostmage could have a tank pet too for outdoor content and some more pet-based gameplay :)

So if I run an old raid on a plate class and a cloth piece drops, will it unlock that transmog right then or will I need to transfer that piece to a cloth class to unlock it?

They should add the skullgards, those buff humans.

I hope there are teleports to all the zones in all the zones, as otherwise you have to do chainflying to access them which takes time. This is the problem when you stack the zones on top of each other, instead of putting them next to each other like on normal continents.

i’m excited for the expansion overall but i’m concerned that the zones are going to get old very quickly like zaralek cavern

so with the rated pvp vault being removed can you still get pvp gear on vault somehow? im not very fond of pvp so having a pvp vault gives me a reason to play instead of just pushing rating.

All of this just teeters on the edge of being exciting but then I remember they're charging an extra $30 for early access.

Regarding the new transmog-learning rules, I didn't see anything mentioned besides running old dungeons/raids...will we now get all transmog from quest rewards? If yes, will we be rewarded retroactively with all transmog from all quests we've ever finished?? Or will we have to re-Loremaster every single expansion again? (I'm not complaining, that type of thing is how I play normally 😅) Warbands sounds amazing, yes. As someone who enjoys dwarves, I'm a little bummed about the Earthen as the only announced new race, but I'm hopeful that we'll see more interesting ones Soon(TM).

Earthen are boring omg. Why not proto humans? Cross faction arathi humans? A comprehensive race customization update instead of a race at all this xpack which includes the similar races like lightforged and reg draenei have the same horn options and some armored horns. Or maybe we could get Sethrak from BFA, no helmet mogs but has extra head appearance options with colors. Or just something new.

Please put 1 or 2 boe mounts in the next expansion like bfa with golden Maine and hyena mount with same drop rate and a super rare epic boe world epic there was none of these in dragon flight

Pretty weak features for a 50 Euro dlc, if you ask me. The Flying part looks more like a fix than feature. Also nothing related to fixing the professions. I think that soon this will be a single player game called World of Women.

I got strong WoW Cataclysm zone Deepholm vibes and I thought, "There copying one of the worst expansions?" Stone reskin of dwarves? Sweet for Alliance, stupid for Horde. As least pandas were neutral. All the pre-order gear looks like leftovers from Shadowlands (kyrian style flying mount, pet, ground mount, and semi kryian armor set) NOT impressed. The whole thing so far looks like a collection of a dozen half ideas from the 2010 timeframe. With some whip-cream style powers up on top. Level cap of 80? Again a mirror of the Cata/WoLK timeframe. The new helmets look kinda cool lol :) But in general I'm not impressed yet.

Everything looks great! I hope delves end up being good, I do worry that they'll feel boring and then they'll be just another thing that they try and then drop. As for Hero Talents. I like the idea and we'll just have to wait and see how impactful they are when they show up on the PTR. I do worry that most players have the wrong impression about them. I get the feeling that most expect these to not only change the gameplay, but also the visuals of the class. Dark Ranger for example, if it doesn't change the spell effects to be more like a Dark Ranger, people will be let down. Personally, I hope the "Frostfire" hero tree turns the mages spells from Fire or Frost to Frostfire spells. I'd love to see a Frostfire Pyroblast and Frostfire Flamestrike. Also, someone else said this as well, these probably won't be massive changes (unfortunately). More than likely these will only affect a couple spells for each class, but we'll just have to wait and see I suppose.

I still want to make my Mage look like the death knight armor. It's not fair cuz all I'm doing is changing something magically to look like something else. It doesn't have the qualities of plate armor it just looks like it so why can't I do it? That makes no sense

phoning it in with the dwarves "new race" No need to worry about new animations or anything. Just reskin and sell like brand new. /zzzzzzzz So many other cool races in wow lore. The jewels don't even matter because you can't see them when clothed. Just another dwarf. They did the same thing with Worgen... reskinned it and called it "drakthyr." Why spend resources on inventing something entirely new with new animations when we'll just take whatever reskinned garbage they shove down our throats and throw money at them?

better bring back the 10men raid cuz nowadays its getting less chance for 20people sitting in front of computer and spend 4hrs raiding together. Time is different now. also a 4hrs raid is not friendly to middle age players who may have family lives.

You forgot some major features: - Bots; - Pay to win features; - The next step on the legacy of the gdkp and carry systems; - Class inbalance and no class identity; - PvP will be dead;

DK is a choice to become one now since Bolvar took the helm it's not forced, like with Arthas. Did you forget about that, my dude? Pretty any new race they make can decide to become one

I'm still not quite understanding the warband system. It sounds like they're just loosening restrictions on things, and "warband" is just a fancy title for it.

I would rather have seen a truly new allied race, or at least 2 allied races.
