The modern guitar virtuoso seems very much the High output pickups played clean through amp. So good to hear there's a place for a younger player using a classic tone

Nice to hear a drop string on an EVH. I loved this hockey puck headstock period he went thru. Perry mason sounded clean! And the Ratt🙌🏻😜

I purchased this guitar last year and it is fucking awesome! It plays so nice and feels so great in your hands. The bridge pickup just growls! I did put a Lil 59 in the neck though. I wasnt digging my tone stock. Great video Cam.

I have a Wolfgang special and 5150 III but really dig the tones I get more out of the Seymore Duncan Custom Custom I get out of my Jackson. What you get sounds more like that Custom Custom sound I do with the EVH and Duncan JB.

@@CameronCooper Love these strings. In fact, I have Elexir 9-42 on all of my guitars. And honestly, I have not seen any better strings so far. No matter if it is Nanoweb, Polyweb, or Optiweb, Elexir strings all sound incredible, and to me they are the only strings that last for a super long time due to their superior corrosion resistance, while delivering that same awesome bright and clear sound...

I just recently bought the EVH Striped series Bumblebee from Sweetwater. Plays like butter if you get my drift. How in your opinion would you compare the 5150's EVH to the striped series . Maybe a video about the 2? I also was wondering what happened to the Charvel Pro Mod you liked so much with the amber quilt top. I actually found one at a guitar center in N.Y. where I live. They were knocking $200 off price for small crack in the body pocket attached to neck. It looked like it was just the clear coat not the wood. Anyway I ended up getting the Bumblebee instead. Any feedback on my comments?
