The easiest way to link them and probably the fastest is to just connect the pulse to the ps5 through USB while the dongle is in and it’ll automatically sync, no need to press any buttons and count Mississippi’s 🤷🏻‍♂️

Appreciate your comment here. The problem comes when you are switching these earbuds to your portal, to your ps5, to your iPhone. I encountered some situations where I had to hit the reconnect on the dongle just to make them work on the ps5 again.

That’s a great question. Wish I could actually get my hands on a PSVR2. Yeah i have watched a few different videos on these Earbuds, they are great but for $200 im gonna just roll with, buy, the SONY Inzone Earbuds which also cost $200. I don't have the playstation Portal & have no intentions on buying one, so the SONY Inzone will be best for me, better sounding, better in ear fit, & the Inzone has noise canceling.

The most important question is missing: Can you connect the pulse explore with the PSVR2? The official answer from the Sony support from yesterday. Pulse explore is not compatible to PSVR2. I still hope that this answer is a joke. In our german forum nobody found a solution to get a stable connection. Only one of the two buds work. But I found a reddit user, who talks about a working sound connection.

Thanks David - that is a great question and response on the status of the Pulse Explore earbuds and PSVR2, so I appreciate your comment here. In terms of Sony's official response, What a shame that is - the Pulse Explore Earbuds would be a great edition to the PSVR2. If I hear of any changes to this problem I will let you know and will also try and get my hands on the PSVR2 if possible to test this out. Thank you for watching and have a great week going forward.

The pulse explore comes with a PS link dongle that can be connected to the PS5. Since the PS5 and the PSVR2 does not have PS Link technology in it, unlike the PS Portal, you would connect the dongle like you would the the PS Pulse 3D headset or the new Pulse Elite headset. They work just like any other PS branded headset except they are infinitely easier to put on with the PSVR2 headset and are not wired to the headset. This is why I am always spamming everyone who critiques the Portal for not having Bluetooth....the PS5 console doesn't natively support Bluetooth headsets without a dongle so I am not sure why people would expect the PS5 accessory to support Bluetooth. The only technology that PS has currently that supports the new PS Link (Sony's proprietary Bluetooth technology) is the PS Portal, the Pulse Explore earbuds and the Pulse Elite headset. Everything else requires the PS Link dongle (or the regular Bluetooth dongle). These earbuds do also have standard Bluetooth so they connect to your phone without PS Link or the PS dongle. I image that PS Link will replace the regular PS Bluetooth dongle and all PS hardware going forward will use the new Link technology so that you can pair the headsets without the dongle.

There doesn't seem to many settings to alter except those shown in the video, however when I access the PS5 control centre (Pressing PS button ---> Sound) I am given options to increase or decrease the volume of the sound, configure the music and video volume and that's it. The main menu only lets me configure the 3d audio again. Hope this helps and if it has, hit that subscribe button for me please, if you haven't already. I have problems with mine disconnecting every few minutes. Maybe mine are defective. I will be returning.

@@PuzPlays they disconnect every few minutes for a couple seconds and then reconnect. This happens every 8 or so minutes on the PS5.
