Maker's Cleaning Cloths: MakersClean.com
We spend a lot of time cleaning our homes - kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms... the list goes on. However, there are a number of areas in the home that we tend to forget about, at least I know I do, so this week I'm going to go over 7 areas in our homes that we all should be cleaning, but probably aren't.
COMMENT QUESTION: What are you watching on Netflix?

Thanks for sharing! I want my plants to live longer and will definitely begin to "bathe" them. Also, related with the lightbulbs are fans. In particular, ceiling fans. My partner and I were having trouble breathing, I decided to vacuum and dust, but when we looked up....we saw the ceiling fan....BINGO! There was a layer of dust! So, one I add for myself is my fans.

No! Do not leave dead foliage at the bottom of your indoor plants. Insects and diseases like to live off of decaying foliage and then cause harm to the rest of your plant.

I saw a show once (mythbusters? can't remember) that ranker items in the home according to the amount of bacteria on them. Remotes tend to be dirtier than toilets! Because we know we have to clean the toilet but we tend to forget about the remotes (and door-handles). Another one for me is keys. And phones.

Essential oil on shredded pieces of tissue (or tumble dryer sheets) then vaccumed up keeps the air clean and smelling lovely- great for people with pets! Laundry powder and baking soda at the bottom of a bin before the bag keeps the bin from smelling and if the bag splits then it soaks up the spill an make it easy to clean just and hot water and rinse out!

I get a large plastic bag tip in salt secure with an elastic band my false flowers inside it, pot or stalks outside. Shake really well and the dust gets knocked off and the dust remains inside the salt. Remove the flowers take outside and shake salt off. I use the dirty salt on frosty paths in the winter. Works so well and no water to damage leaves of delicate flowers.

About cleaning electronics. I use kiddies slime to squidge in between the keys of my computer keyboards. Crumbs/gunk stick to it when you roll it back off. If used carefully it's pretty good at staying stuck to itself and taking all the crap with it. Might be good for some designs of remote controls plus nooks and crannies in other electronics too.

Question: I always hear you say to mix alcohol with water when making a disinfectant, but is there any reason that I have to use water at all? Can't I just spray stuff with straight rubbing alcohol? It evaporates quicker than water, so I'd be worried that the water would get into the electronics.

Hi. My husband and I are also Netflix fanatics. Just finished Orange is the New Black. Now we are on Shameless. Highly recommended. It's comedy, drama and it's fun to watch. Try it out.
