Prime MJ would lead the league in scoring every season in todays NBA. And he would probably be somewhere around 45 a game. In the 1987-88 season, MJ won MVP,DPOY, scoring champion , slam dunk championship, and all star game MVP. You will never ever see that again.

This man is a myth, a legend... If i hadnt seen him on tv live in the 90s, i would have doubted his existence. Is there another player, not only in basketball but in all sports, with such outrageous stories ??? NO... He was not playing basketball, he was toying with his opponents.. He only lost games, so that he had a motivation, something to live upon...

Only Bird with the Celts comes close
@nathanrobinson3653
@nathanrobinson3653 Жыл бұрын
I saw him before Bird retired and Bird and the Celtics beat him 65% of the time and swept him and the Bulls in both playoff match-ups. He was crying on the bench near the end of the game in the final playoff loss to Bird--and Bird would trash talk them in the process. Jordan had a great game and skill, very athletic and tenacious, but he couldn't really beat Bird. Bird took an awful team to +30 wins his rookie year and showed out against the conference bully 76ers in the playoffs and then went on to win a title in year two. Bird made everyone around him so much better making an Indiana State Sycamore team in college who had never been to the tournament to a 33-0 record going into the National title game averaging like 32,13, and 5. Put Bird with any 4 good players and they will compete for titles--no coaching savant or Robin required. When Jordan left the team after the 3rd title, his team only lost 1 more game that regular season. Give me any 4 guys by position in the top 100 with Bird and that's a title against any line-up. Bird was that good and he has way more stories, legend, trash-talking. It's all on You tube and after watching him in-career and KZfaq videos for years I still see new stuff surface after all these years. Check it--broken occipital, stitches, staples, bad back from '86 onward, clamp, the left-hand game, dislocated fingers, achilles tendenitis, trash-talking backing it up during the game, fighting, buzzer-beaters, steal playoff game saves, triple-doubles, the 30-10-10-9 steal almost quadruple-double game in 31 minutes (sat the entire 4th quarter because blowin out the Jazz), Magic sayin "he is the best basketball player ever", Jordan says "no one happier than me to see you retire", Gary Payton sayin "Bird will give it to you any way he wants to." Bird sayin "I am gonna take 2 dribbles and shoot it right in your face" to everyone or tellin Dominique "You don't belong in this league holmes". I only say all this because you speak like you are a good fan and have a good eye for the game. If you missed Bird, check hum out. There are hours and hours of different legends and stories and highlights. A treasure trove. Jordan is awesome, and Kobe, and LeBron, but Bird was so good he could fit perfect with anyone and never needed a 2nd superstar or "Robin". Peace.

He was unstoppable one on one, he had so many moves to hit the defenders with. That move right there was crazy, you can't turn sideways or he will spin around you, you can't face him up either because he will go either side. Plus he can just shoot in your face from anywhere in the court anyway.

Kareem & LeBron have compiled all of the numbers and stats of the greatest, but when you turn on the tape it's a different story. In the later years of his career, MJ had the OPPOSING fans standing in ovation when he was hitting buzzer beaters. Check out the winners in his Wizards career against Cleveland & Phoenix in '01/'02.

The way MJ gets his shots off, especially against contact, it doesn't matter how tall or how fast the defender is. You can see shades of players in today's game that understand it like derozan or kawhi and see why it's successful. Mike had a counter for everything. He would dominate today's game.

IF you actually pay attention, you can see the demeanor in players & if they wanted to just make a level or actually do something. I remember watching Dickerson but he got caught in BS. Then I watched LT (which changed defenses), watched Barry Sanders (who exaggerated Gail Sayers (but BETTER) & gave a whole new meaning to humility) & watched Peyton Manning (who went through BS & still won 2 rings). Back in the day EVERYBODY talked about him, wanted to see his next game, folks who didn’t even like sports. I dated a girl who was a dancer, didn’t give a shit about sports, but wanted to see whatever magic he’d bring next. Nobody today is MUST SEE TV like that.

The height to compete against any player, the strength to finish through contact, the agility to cross up the quickest of players, the ups to dunk over the tallest of players, the tenacity and demeanor never before seen in sports, the edge to put even Death himself in his place. MICHAEL JORDAN. He's the GOAT. And it ain't even close.

Look at that Hawks x Bulls game with prime Dominique and prime Jordan, game had more highlights than a quarter of today's NBA season. What a time in basketball.

There was Something psychopathic about Jordan's mindset he wants to beat you at anything at all costs not just basketball . He had no weaknesses and athletically he was on another level speed & vertical jump, then you have the fundimental skill level elite, and add in the clutch gene unbelievable. and just watching him play was poetry in motion beautiful game .
Never insult Michael Jordan...The FULL STORY - SHUT UP LITTLE BIT*H!
