After holding it together for seven long hours, your child arrives home from school mentally and emotionally depleted. He is exhausted, hungry, and in need of a release. But instead, he’s got homework… and that is a huge stress for the whole family.
Educational consultant Ann Dolin, M.Ed., shares some of her tried-and-true, research-based strategies for guiding your child efficiently and effectively through homework - and teaching him the skills to begin leading himself independently. Would life be better without homework? Quite possibly. Will you reduce stress and drama by using these techniques? Almost certainly.

... I'm so embarrassed that I'm a 24 year old woman and so many of these are applicable to my schooling situation... I want to cry from how amazing these idea are but also from how embarrassed I am that I am using strategies designed for little ones. EDIT: I personally also hate that 'What would you do differently' question. I can't narrow down what I would do differently if I don't know what to do to begin with. Also, you are more then welcome to delete this comment. I don't know if you guys want people to comment and if you don't feel free to delete this lol.
