7 Performance Mods Your E30 Must Have!!

In today's video, I went over the top 7 mods I have installed on my car that are extremely helpful and I believe everyone should have to better their E30s. I am not sponsored by any of these brands or fully recommend any of these brands. if you find a part that better fits your car in those categories then I suggest you buy that. I am mainly listing the mods you should get and which ones I am running!
1. Wheels & Tires
- Wide or staggered set of wheels and grippy tires
- Current wheel set up: ESM 16x9.5 in the rear and 16x8.5 in the front
- Current tires: 225/35/16 in the rear and 215/40/16 in the front
2. Coilovers or Springs
- Currently running IE motorsport Stage 3 Race Springs, they have stiff spring rates which cause less rubbing.
- Springs Price $295, www.iemotorsport.com/product/...
- BC Coilovers (amazing, but pricy) $1000, www.turnermotorsport.com/p-55...
3. Differential
- Currently running 4.10 LSD
- Most popular 4.10 and 3.73
- Available on eBay and other places (Buy one before they go up in price)
4. Sway Bars
- Current Swaybar Suspension Techniques (ST)
- (ST) swaybars price: $375. www.condorspeedshop.com/produ...
- There is many other different brands, therefore, do some research about which ones will be the best for you.
5. Strut Bar
- Currently running Garagistics front Strut bar.
- Strut bar price: $100. www.garagistic.com/products/e...
- There is many other strut bars, but prices vary and some are better than others so do some research on which one fits your need and price range
6. Steering Rack
- Currently running E36 M3 Steering rack
- Recommended Z3 steering rack Price: $300-$500 New, cheaper if used.
7. Exhaust
- My current set up is a performance muffler with stock headers
- I will change the exhaust set up soon in the future to a full exhaust from the headers back. You can find exhaust systems for very cheap or very expensive depending on the quality.
8. Short Shifter
- I am currently planning to purchase the supreme shifter from Garagistics. There are many other options available for different prices and the option is yours if you want a solid shifter or an OEM+ Z3 shifter.

dont forget to reinforce your sway bar tabs. they commonly rip off with aftermarket stiffer sway bars

I kept mine stock! I used to have a K&N intake with a heat shield but saw no improvement from it so I just kept the original one but I put a K&N filter pad instead of the oem ones

Thats actually something I’ve been thinking about doing! But doing the m52 swap first then few years down the road throw a turbo when i get a daily as well! I think its a great idea considering how expensive s50 and s52 are currently also you can push more power with the m52 turbo

M50 you can find but S50 will be pricy. I think turbo m20 is the best power for price

If you have the m20 2.5 a good option is to rebuild your bottom end to a 2.8 liter, I just swapped in the crank, rods and pistons from a '88 super eta. You get nearly m50 performance and it can run on 87 octane gas.

It’s the M-Tech 2 steering wheel! They’re pretty pricy but it’s also a good investment since they’re going up in price. Probably my favorite thing I’ve added to my car
