The best thing any young single man can do is be the best version of yourself and learn the art of not giving a fuck what women think of you. After I learnt that, things started to change massively for me. I started being rude to women who were rude to me, walking away from women who weren't giving me what I wanted, setting clear boundaries early whilst dating someone, and ghosting women that didn't respect them. From my personal perspective, if a woman thinks that you have the self respect to walk away the moment she wastes your time or crosses a boundary, she will actually respect you for it and not do it. Be nice, and she won't take you seriously.

This is a phenomenon I haven't heard anyone bring up so I want to talk about it. Last Halloween I dressed up as a trojan warrior with a mask....I had been working out and was in good shape...there was this girl (about a 7) who came in and she was hanging out with this Chad-light. Last week, I was talking to an attractive girl and after 10 minutes she said "I have to go to the bathroom, I'll be right back." So I give her some time to come back but she doesn't come back.....a little later she comes back with her friend and I just ignore her (I considered that a flake and I was done with her at that point). After a while she gets up and leaves and when she comes back she sits right next to me and "accidentally" rubs her legs against mine. I continue to ignore her. She looks at me and smiles. I ignore......then she does something scary -- she goes on her phone and texts a guy to come to the bar. 5 minutes later the guy comes over and kisses her. I get the fuck out of there. It wasn't her boyfriend because they weren't seen together the rest of the night....I think she just "ordered some dick" on her phone when she wasn't getting any attention and was possibly trying to raise competition anxiety. Why are these women doing this nowadays? They're copying high status men who have women compete for their attention. The difference is that no self respecting man is gonna be a dancing monkey and try to win a girl over another guy (possibly ex lover). Things in America are becoming a shit show.

Another very important consideration for why women are much more selective than men when choosing a mate might be that maternal mortality was much more of a risk in centuries past. Ascertaining the actual risk, however, seems problematic. For example, for medieval Europe calculations range from 5% to 50%. In any case, on top of being unable to bare offspring again for a maximum period of 9 months after becoming pregnant, women also risked death. I suspect that any selection strategy that paired a woman with the type of man that helped to minimize her chances of dying during pregnancy or childbirth was naturally selected and passed down. Stillbirths were also much more common in our distant history, and a woman who chose badly therefore had a greater chance of wasting her precious and finite months of fertility delivering dead babies.

For most of human history, women have dated and married slightly up. 5 woman/6 man. 7 woman/8 man etc. It's gotten out of control to the point now that a "5/6" women thinks they not only deserve but DEMAND a man that is 8 through 10. The amount of action that men in the 5-7 range get now has decreased precipitously over the last decade and have basically been shut out of the dating market. At the same time... with overweight/obesity rates greatly increasing, the amount of women moved to the 1-4 range has skyrocketed. There is a virtual "Wasteland" now for average/healthy people to date one another.

In France a woman with a child get 1750€ a month without doing anything. She'll get extras on september when the kid will go to school. The minimum gain with a full job is 1545€.

A 2020 Pew Research Study found that 71% of U.S. single available women over 40 were NOT looking to date, while only 42% of U.S. single available men over 40 were NOT looking to date. An AARP study from about 10 years earlier found the same level of discrepancies. 2) I have a personal female friend (and this situation is becoming more common) who decided to have children without a man, but is NOT on state assistance - she makes a good income as an attorney. So there are more than a few women who decide to have children on their own who are self-sufficient. Comment #1 actually adds to WW's arguments, in my view.

With regards career, when I hear of women with high aspirations for climbing the corporate ladder I generally view that as a big warning sign. They usually are very entitled, aggressive and are usually less playful.

If we think about evolution as a species and our instincts optimized at improving the species from our self, it all makes sense. When I say genetics, I dont just mean looks or health. This includes positive traits such as confidence, intelligence, social competence, or any other positive trait that can be taught by the father. Every man's goal is to spread and further their genetics as far as possible, regardless of their viability, and regardless of the quality of woman. Id say this applies unless the woman is a LARGE margin more unattractive than the man as that would be noticeable genetic average drop between the average man to woman. For women, this is much more complicated and important. Women are the great genetic filter. They decide who's genetics lives and who's dies. Their entire imperative is about genetic improvement. It makes sense why women wouldn't choose to date down or even equal in genetics and want to date up. Even if by a small margin, the goal is to increase their genetic average with whoever they choose. It makes sense why a guy thats a 10 can have many women and they will accept sharing that man as any emotional sacrifice will be instincually worth it. Globalization has ruined the "dating game" but its perfecting genetic optimization, letting lower genetic women meet higher genetic men. The only limitation to this benefit on the genetic pool is contraceptives as that reduces the genetic benefit of globalization. On paper, this works perfectly for genetic optimization as more women have more access to higher quality men, leaving little to no room for the lower and average quality men. This means that over time, the lower echelons get genetically filtered out and standards get raised. In 100s of years, our 8s and 9s could be considered average if not worse. It sucks for most guys' genetic imperative but its really interesting from an evolutionary perspective. Basically, we each individually need to become the perfect man and hope the majority does not decide to do the same. If every man were to raise their quality, standards would just increase to where the hard to change looks would have even more impact on choice, is it has. But for those reading, its not all looks. More men than ever are feminine and lack the positive quality traits I mentioned that go into that instinctual choice. Get your looks up, get social competence, confidence, intelligence, and of course wealth and you will see a drastic change in your quality of life, both with women and your view of life.

I believe reason 3 is also why abortion is so important to women. It provides a nice little reset button in case a higher value man comes along.
