Jealousy is such a toxic trait and it’s scary because sometimes it comes from the people who are closest to you. This is so informative and I think everyone should be on the look out for traits like this. Even within yourself. We’re all human and it may happen from time to which is why it’s important to self reflect 🙏🏽

Let’s face it: I clicked to see the video because of the My Hero Academia artwork. I was not disappointed at all from the outcome. You delivered great on both artwork and topic.

The best way to get rid of jealousy as much as possible is to celebrate your accomplishments on the down low. I know it's tempting to share your success with the world but the less people know the less jealousy there is.

Me and my friend had a crush on this boy, she ended up dating him and I was fine with it because me and him stayed friends, but I've been noticing that anytime her bf or any other guy gives me any form of attention, like praise or something, she's always quick to make rude jokes about me infront of them or quickly try and talk about herself to make her seem more interesting, like one time she made fun of my earrings because they were "too thin" and whenever one of my boy bffs asked to see my grades she'd always butt in and show off her's and she even told me once that I should ask HER boyfriend out to the school dance since I didn't have a date, I just found that completely disrespectful towards me and her bf. Edit: She only started showing interest in him because she noticed me and him getting close.

What's scary is how far jealousy, envy and greed has taken individuals. It's not so much experiencing it but acting impulsively. It's not always evident but there's pretty obvious signs of jealousy like being possessive and passive aggressive in words and actions.

Don't listen to others, especially those who are jealous of you. Remember no one knows your story better than you do and only you know your true potential. And yes there are people who try to uplift you, but remember most want you to be successful but not more successful than them. The only advice and criticisms you should take are from yourself.

I had to cut off a toxic "friend" awhile back. We both have anxiety/depression, but the way they chose to handle their mental illness was not healthy (for themselves nor the relationships with the people around them). I started to work on myself to give them some hope that recovery is possible. I started seeing improvements after a lot of trial and error (I still have a ways to go, but I'd rather be where I am now than six years ago), but aside from my friend taking their meds they didn't do the work necessary to change their toxic behavior and their mental health and relationships suffered because of it. Long story short, whenever I saw an improvement for myself they would always tell me how "naturally" things came to me and would imply that I didn't have to try or that I wasn't truly struggling due to the results I got that they didn't. For awhile, it made me feel guilty for getting better and taking care of myself; they would use my accomplishments to self-deprecate or to win arguments between us. Never feel guilty about helping yourself; you deserve to enjoy your accomplishments, especially when it comes to your mental health. If you have to cut anyone off that makes you think otherwise, it is perfectly understandable. Your relationship with yourself comes first before your relationship with anyone else.

One way to tell if someone is jealous of you, is to do something that you already know what you are doing , watch what that person does while you are finish doing it. They always try to emulate what you did, but try to talk down on you. I have always have this happen to me.

It's hard to do at the time, but dropping frenemies saves you so much precious time that can be better spent with the people who really matter. Thank you for making this video

As soon as you see *ANY* of those red flags, remove that person from your life. It might sound radical, but you have no idea what those type of people are capable behind the curtains. The sooner you cut them, the happier your life will become, I promise.

I had a friend (a boy), he liked me for a year. He would be “nice” but he’s worse than you think. He would make sexual assumptions behind my back, sometimes around me. My friend told me everything that he told her, telling her to not tell me about it but she had to tell me. Talked about s**, kissing, babies etc. I was so uncomfortable. Now I’m here. He talked behind my back, saying to spy on me and then, he backstabbed me. Whenever I come to talk to his friends, he just leaves. It was my birthday, I came to say hello and then he never said anything with a straight face like I was a stranger. I asked to be friends again, he just left with no consent, I asked again, around his friends. You guessed it, he turned around to his friends, then kinda shouted no. I’ll never forget that year

I loved the twist on this video! There was one consistent reference instead of many because this went hand and hand with specifically MHA. I also loved how the sticky-note pad with the reason on it flipped so that the end of the section reminded us what the reason was again. Don't get me wrong, I also love the usual format but it's always nice to see one of my favorite youtubers trying something new. The new animator seems to work really well with the team! 😁

If someone truly wants you, they will show it through actions, how effective their communication is, their vibe, body language and how they treat you. It’s pretty hard to live with someone who is constantly jealous of you. My older sister is very jealous of me sometimes to an extreme and harmful extent and always has been because I was considered the favorite child when in actuality me and my mom just have a better relationship. But I’ll never forget when I told her a got a new job that paid $20 and hour and she was so angry at me because I was making more then her or when she told her friend we were hanging out with that I never had a job and despite having multiple jobs or when she gets a better score on a video game we both play she won’t text me for weeks but as soon as she does some accomplishment that I am trying to do in a game like get a special character she has to let me know that she did it before me aka one uping. So yeah I’ve just sort of accepted it at this point and that she has to live with those difficult feelings of jealously.

I LOVE that the animator has used my hero

My roommate in college was exactly like this, and it's crazy because I really considered her my best friend. I'm upset at myself for not seeing the signs sooner, because she truly caused a lot of damage to me and my personal life. I'm glad to know now that I wasn't the issue, it was her just making me feel like everything was wrong with me. These people have no hearts. Stay away from them at all costs.

Yes..i agree.. I heard it once said.. jealousy is just another form of admiration.. on the other hand..its just confirmation that were doing good and happy doing what we do..

I do, she's been jelous of me all her life. And for no real reason whatsoever... It started in our early childhood from things her mother would tell her that was not the truth. coming from envy and jealousness she had towards my mother which made her her sister-in-law. And me and her daughter cousins. My mother having me 6 months or so right after her daughter obviously changed a lot which continued over years when we were in another state more than we were ever aware of. Destroyed a lot of relationships that were built on nothing but love she succeded in her evil quest. the times which aren't many me and her daughter get together we do get together now in our early 40s, I get to hear the same ole delusional stories/ memories she recalls growing up she remembers from her mother telling her how we got so many things when they got nothing my grandmother gave so much more to us than she ever did them the treatment was so different etc still wanted so on you name it and each time I sit there with a blank look on my face and don't even bother saying a word because there's absolutely no point despite the times I've told her I've always loved you and I've never seen anything other than us as equal always complimenting her, which has changed nothing. After all the destruction that I will not even begin to mention here and after the spiritual awakening I've had I've realized that family is not always blood and you cannot change anything of another person only accept who and what and how they are or walk away and cut ties. And that is what I'm going to do new year new me

Wow. I didn't want to think that this was the case because I don't have much self-esteem and I believe in being humble, anyway. But there was recently someone in my life who was using my depression and lack of self-confidence against me and actually committing these same actions, toward me. Again, I didn't want to think so highly of myself to think that they were jealous. But literally, they had all of these same behaviors. And it got to the point where they actually tried to ruin mine and my child's lives. Sad, really. I sure hope they find happiness within themselves. Because they were constantly trying to find it in outwardly things. Just as this video explained.

I have a family member who is extremely jealous as well as his wife. They are even violent and aggressive. I always wondered if this was a combination of jealousy and something else. It’s like they enjoy hurting people. They have so much hate in their heart. I had to cut them out of my life for good due to their toxic behaviors.
