Marspeed yeah I had my sights set on a warlock/rebel because I prefer the more rugged off road look those trucks have but I couldn’t pass up the deal I got for the orange truck. It definitely attracts attention, some negative but mostly positive

Go way back to 1963 there was a 413 cubic inch around 400 horse power Dodge pick up with special stripes. What about the Rumble Bee in the 2000's

I have a 2018 hydro blue edition as well. I got the 2 wheel drive with the R/T 22" wheels. I had a color matched Undercover bed cover installed, dropped the rear 2" with Mcgaughey drop springs, and had the engine cover color matched leaving the letters and intake molding black as not to reverse the paint/badge scheme. It's a head turner. Only 2000 copies were produced in the sport trim, and was the last special edition offering before they introduced the 2019 body style a few months later. they released a Ram classic hydro blue with only 1000 copies produced but doesnt have anywhere near the perks of a sport and those also received the crosshair grille like all other common rams

Me and my dad have owned 3 second gen IndyRams. 1 was a parts truck, 1 was mine, 1 is still his. I unfortunately lost mine in a housefire, but my dads is still alive and kicking. Fun fact, theres a chassis code that corresponds with what production number they were on the Frame Rail, my dads is #47. Pretty incredible, but its in rough shape as it has been made a work truck.

I had a 1996 (not 97 or 98) SLT Ram sport package. It was essentially the 97- 98 package on a 96... or the Indy but had the colored bumper vs the flush pan bumper. Was a really cool, loud truck. Interesting there was so few SSTs... I've seen a ton in the wild. Maybe I just have an eye for them.

In addition to my earlier comment on the SS/T that you mentioned had a 5hp bump from the Indy model with no known changes,its been known for years that the pcm was tuned on transmission shift points and a change from the magnaflow on the Indy to a Dynomax exhaust in the SS/T

There was also a mid 90's Richard Petty edition ram truck that came out when Richard Petty ran a truck in the Nascar truck series. It had Richard Petty written in the head rests and other things and I believe that the tru k only came in a red exterior.

There's a dealer in my area that did a bunch of "Ruble Bee" trucks. They took a metric tonne of Yellow single cabs and put some "Rumble Bee" stickers on the back of the truck and sold them as a special edition.

2001 Dodge Motorsports Edition Dakota. Black painted wheels, Gold Goodyear Eagle raised letter tires, available in black and red only and even though it was a sport edition it came with a chrome grill. It was a appearance package that looked really good.

The 1998 had a sport tuned suspension, that cornered very well. Rack and pinion steering,Gibson high flow single exhaust, and a very nice looking roll pan rear end. The Emerald green racing stripes looked much better than the other colors. The interior was over the top with leather loaded. Mopar did work on the the computer with out telling anyone. It was much faster than other 1998 5.9 trucks and had no problems lighting up the rear tires. The handling was so good,if you would try to drive another dodge like you drove the SST,you would lose it. Street racing was a blast,if you added a cold air intake the HP jumped unbelievably only within a few runs the computer would make adjustments back to as it was. I owned one of these beautiful trucks.

The Sublime RAM 1500 is my absolute dream truck. We have very few of them in Switzerland, I would guess only 10! I think when I have the money I'll have to import one from the US 😂 Thanks for the great video!

I've got a 2015 sport in ceramic clear coat. Not sure if it's anything special but I cant find anything about it nor have I seen any other trucks in that color. It does have the color matching stitching and leather with sport mesh seats. I love it and it always gets compliments wherever I go.

A local scrap yard has a 96 indy Pace Ram minus drivetrain as a display vehicle mounted on a cradle on a wall. It's complete right down to the interior (other than said engine/trans) The owner of the yard says he got it as a repo, w/o a title and could not sell it, only part it out. He said that he wishes he didn't sell the engine and trans now, and applied for a salvage title, given the rarity of the truck. At the time, who knew? I tried to special order a 98 SS/T and was told I couldn't get 1. I ended up ordering a 98 Dakota sport 5.2 5 speed instead, which I still have.

For episode 3 hit some Heavy Duty. There’s a nice video of my 2014 Power Wagon sled pulling. I think it’s labeled 2013 or 2015 though. As well the DS series Power Wagon, the Kentucky Derby 3500, snow Chief and Prospector Edition in the 80’s.theres Night or Blacked our Sport HDs. AEV while after Market makes a mean Prospector HD.

I’m enjoying your videos, you did miss one version... 2004-05 Ram HemiSport. It was a quad cab version of the Rumble bee. Now I’m 03 Dodge produced a version of the HemiSport but without the hood scoop and only in a 2wd version. I cannot remember the name. I currently own an 94 HemiSport 4x4 in black.

Marspeed not the HemiSport you didn’t...as I said above the HemiSport was the quad cab version of the Rumble bee for 04 and 05. It had the same options as the Bee but had running boards instead of the side skirts and wasn’t a numbers truck. It came in 3 colors, Black, red and silver, both 2x and 4x4.

Gotta include the CSS (also the HPP I think it's called), that could be the very first sport truck. The dodge dude, Warlock, lil red express. Fargo's who's numbers are not published are very rare especially the power wagons.

7:40 the bulit with pride stickers is actually not just for ss/t. All the US made 2nd gens got those stickers in the driver's door jam and there's 2 different ones. One for the Warren plant and one for the Detroit plant

Search 2007 Ram RST. Regency produced 2wds for 07 in limited numbers. Another special Ram out there. I've owned a silver reg cab👍

The Shelby Ram is a nice little rig, minus the odd looking ground effects, the brush guard on the front end, and the gold Rams head needs to be replaced with the stock Rams head hood ornament used on Dodge trucks back in the day....

I feel you forgot something big about the SST, dodge didn't offer a single cab short bed 2wd with a 360 unless it was a SST, all other 2wd single cab short beds would have the 5.2 v8 or 3.9 v6
