My father passed this past July due too service related illness. Agent Orange was the main factor from his time in Vietnam. I know it affects myself and my siblings. The health issues are similar. I need too work on compensation for us so that we can pay medical bills and cover pain & suffering. I think it passes too our children as well.

In 1968 while I was in Vietnam I was encapsulated in an unknown missed with 2 other soldiers. The next day I became violently sick and was airlifted to Qnon hospital where I was treated for a fever of unknown Origin. My temperature upon arrival was 103.5°. I was treated for 4 weeks and when I recovered I was sent back to the field in Bong Song. After I ETS from the Army I started getting sick again, however my condition was manifested to illnesses ie, chronic fatigue, severe heart burn and feeling extremely sick. I visited the VA hospital in Milwaukee where I was hospitalized each time. In 1971 I filed a claim for those conditions ie fever of unknown Origin resulting in a denial by the VA. However other conditions started appearing wear I started experiencing numb and burning feet. I didn't go back to the VA I went to civilian Doctors. In 2011 I filed a claim for hearing loss at which time I had to see a psychiatrist and was diagnosed with PTSD. I was awarded 30% VA disability. I then met with an American Legion service officer and he advised me to enroll in VA health care, at which time I did. The VA physician ordered test congruent with my Military Army experience at which time I learned that I was exposed to Agent Orange. I underwent The C & P exam at which time I was awarded 100% for Smoldering myeloma , 70% PTSD, 20% for neuropathy, 10% for chronic fatigue, 10% for tinnitus and later on I was awarded 50% for sleep apnea. The condition that experienced early on especially the claim that I filed in 1971 could that be within the scope of the Nehmer Bill; to get my denial claim reinstated. Anthony J Riley sr 4950 n 19th st Milwaukee, Wisconsin 53209 414 331 9224 I thank very much for reading my comment and I sincerely hope your firm can help. I did go back to my American Legion service officer and he indicated that he was lose his certification if he pursued my claim. I did call Tabak Law in Milwaukee and I was advised to call Washington d.c. veterans legal service program 202 265 8305. I called said number today and a rep Tekey Wallace referred me to the internet to file a claim to adjust my earlier claim filing date. And that Agent Orange was not recognized prior to 1984. If could please help me it would be greatly appreciated Respectfully Anthony J Riley Sr Retired ISG, USAR 4950 N 19TH STREET MILWAUKEE, WI 53209 414 331 9224

They would spray and then say go, go get em right into the clouds. On returning to the reservation we began sweats which is sitting in a enclosed hot room to make you sweat. The first day was fine a little itchy, the second day sores began to show upon my skin the third day open bleeding sores began to open up all over the skin some the size of half dollars. Extremely painful while bleeding. I had to stop for the bleeding and sores to heal. I was told that I was never in an area that was sprayed. So I continued to sweat of and on until the sores begain to get smaller and I could handle the pain. Today the sores show up in small sores between my fingers and painful and around my neck and shoulders so I have continued the sweats. The bastards will never let us prove this. But they sure sent us on SAG missions and brainwashed us so we wouldn't remember most but not all of thier crap. The V.A. simply wants us to die.

Agent Orange was found in the water and soil at the Army base I was stationed at, Ft Ord, CA from 1989 to 1992. I was diagnosed with testicular cancer within eight months after my honorable discharge in 1992. I was denied my cancer claim due to my DAV Advocate failing to submit my private medical records. Should I appeal? I was diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes three years ago as well.

@Shorty Morales, generally speaking, VA now presumes herbicide exposure for any veteran who served between September 1, 1967 and August 31, 1971, in a unit determined by VA and the Department of Defense (DoD) to have operated in an area in or near the Korean DMZ. For a list of the specific units, check out our blog here: cck-law.com/blog/agent-orange-exposure-in-korea/

My husband was in was in 1970-72 Army tracker team 1st Calv.Div. He's had 2 episode's of his lungs collapsing. Spontaneous Pneumothorax, where 1/3 of of his lung was removed. I swore to idea it was from Agent Orange. His surgeon merely replied he didn't think So. So We want to know, if his episode's of this had Anything to do with his exposure to it. We lost everything because he couldn't work & the business fired my husband & said he'd never work again. We at that had a 1 week old baby when we had to relocate to east Texas & live with his parents for his recovery. I feel this was an injustice to my Veterans whole being. Please help us figure out if this terrible piece of our & his history?

I'm a Navy vet that did not go to Nam, but I boarded my ship when it first came back from Nam in 1971 and stayed aboard it for (3) three years, then was discharged. Years later I was diagnosed with cancer and I found other shipmates who also had cancers. Then I found a person who was aboard the ship in the 1980's when it was in the shipyard for a entire year being DE-CONTAMINATED FROM AGENT ORANGE. (that person now has diabetes)..….and after that the ship was de-commissioned. Why would they do all that to the ship if it was not contaminated....AND if it was contaminated in the 1980's, then it was contaminated while I was aboard it......…...…..DO I HAVE A GOOD CLAIM FOR A.O. EXPOSURE?

Do not forget those exposed to the herbicides in Thailand. The bases were totally devoid of vegetation that were previously jungle. I was diagnosed with Ischemic heart disease and diabetes type 2. And I still have other problems that have manifested even after you winning my case for Ischemic heart disease. I believe our government has played down the seriousness of our issue. By the grace of god and a 5 bypass surgery I am still alive but many of my buddies are not. The fact is that It is totally bullshit that the herbicides were only sprayed on the perimeter. The entire base was entirely sprayed not just the perimeter. What does total removal of vegetation mean. The VA only recognizes what is convenient for them. FORGET THE PERIMETER THE ENTIRE AIR FORCE BASES WERE SPRAYED BEFORE ANY CONSTRUCTION OF RUNWAYS OR BUILDINGS. They fogged the base with Insecticides almost every day with Insecticides that were banned in the continental United States in the 1950's. Which definitely caused respiratory damage. I was stationed in Germany in 1972 at grossostheim concern. And when the troops from Vietnam were brought back to receive their out-processing. Examinations at Frankfurt It'll Dorff. Air Force Base JFK to Cai to portions of our barracks 2 how's these troops? And they did a what they call a duffle bag drag and the agent orange was on their uniforms and on their duffle bags, so we were exposed. For that two months that those people were at our concern. I cannot find anybody who is still alive that can verify this but since I have retired and 91. I have had four heart attacks open heart surgery. And I have severe diabetes. I was just wondering if there's maybe a way to connect this.
