I viewed this as I had mentioned to you yesterday, needless to say that I loved it. You have covered a lot more than what I had seen when I visited Sevenoaks in May 2023, I can see what I missed. Actually my London based friend took me to see the countryside in Kent. He took me to Ide Park and he decided to visit Sevenoaks to buy a second hand tripod stand. That's how I was able to spend a little time at this beautiful and quaint town. Allow me to digress a bit, I know my comments usually become too long. My friend bought the tripod from a charity shop (I don't remember what these shops are called), those who have usable articles but they themselves have no use for them donate such articles to these shops. The money received from the sale of these second hand articles are used for charity, I think this is a wonderful idea. From Sevenoaks we went to Brighton. It was a wonderful day. After watching your video I feel the urge to visit the place again and see what I missed earlier.

I was born in 7 oaks ,baptised in st nicks ,by the way Jon Donne was vicar there the famous grammar school was opened I believe in the 14hundreds there is a plaque on the wall over the entrance ,my sister has a place there , the Inn opposite the school was a coaching inn ,where the high street and london road converge is a tile hung building that was for many years Outrams where saddles were made and repaired rabbit nets sold all types of leather ware baskets and country ware , just up thr road opposite knocker and Fosket (great name for lawyers,probably not there now) is the Red House owned many years ago during the troubles in france by a real life scarlet pimpernel ,There is or was a framed paper over the mantel telling of his exploits to rescue a noble from the clutches of those cads who wanted his head ,off sevenoaks was known by the saxon bishop of Otford this area fell under his bishopric and he had a hospice to the south of where 7oaks is now in the 900s ,there is a book in the library stating this is so
