I am currently packing up my life again after 8 years in NZ from Ireland so not my first time emigrating, and moving to Melbourne in the next few weeks / months depending on savings and job. I can work anywhere as people with Kiwi passports don't need a visa. For people who have the choice would you think it is best to get a job before I come or are employers mainly looking at people already in the country. I am looking at jobs in projects.
