I'm really excited to share with you guys some tips that I gathered during my first year of computer science! Here are some tips to help you people survive and hopefully excel with your current program!
It's not going to be easy! Computer Science is a challenging environment but so far has been really rewarding!

3rd year na me...wala talagang madali haha, mauubos yung study strat mo sa sobrang daming aaralin mo real talk lang, kahit mahal mo pa, talagang darating sa point na mapapagod ka, tas di mo na maiiwasan na mag cram. pero eto lang siguro yung dapat niyo tandaan, okay lang magpahinga, mag unwind, lumayo saglit sa computer at mag take time lang muna, kung wala kang deadline na hinahabol, kung possible, mag pahinga ka, treat mo sarili mo, spoil mo, deserve mo yan. Pagkatapos nun, balik kana uli, kasi minsan dun lang mas makakapag isip ng tama ang tao pag hindi clouded, o maraming iniisip. Godbbless sainyo, naway maka graduate tayong lahat ng hindi nag shishift

Hello Sam, I'm a college student currently and Comsci got my attention lately. It's because of some of my minor course subjects(Related to IT) that I have been taken. Tapos ayon na nga while I'm learning I realized I finally decided to take this Program(COMSCI) soonest After this program I'm currently taking(BSBA-BFM). I'm grateful with this information you shared this enlightened me that Indeed I'm choosing the right decision.

Im not good in math subject but im pursuing BSCS hope i survive this course mahirap lalo na wala ako masyadong background sa computer but inisip ko na lng na nandito ako para matutu diko na inisip yung grade what ever the outcome the important is how i can learn and grow as a computer science student ❤️

You're underrated, man. You deserve more recognition. Thanks for the video, it's loud and clear, a 10/10. Currently don't know on what to take, IT or ComSci, I really love to make programs so I want to take ComSci but my brain completely rejects every math problems. You're probably a 2nd Year ComSci Student now. Any advice on the Mathematics of ComSci? What are the things I need to advanced study if I want to take ComSci?

So glad I self studied programming at the age of 15. Then I enrolled in CS50 and it so happened na yung material na binigay is matagal ko nang pinag aaralan. No joke, when I first encountered bolleen parang sumabog utak ko HAHAHAHA

Salamat po kuya! Anyways yung "paper" advice, yan po ba yung parang idea ng ipro-program mo na isusulat sa papel? Para maintindihan ng maiigi sa sariling language ko (like English or Tagalog) ? Tapos, if sure na tlaga, itra-translate na sa code mismo?

May isa kaming class nun na may issues sa mac. CCINFOM. Pero nagawan naman ng paraan. Also first few terms might be a bit tricky kasi naka windows yung mga demo, but I'd still go for a mac if I had a choice

Same lang tayo boss Comsci nako this year, pero nag aaral nako ng math ngayon paunti unti, i just realised na interesting pala ang math if maganda ang pagkakaturo, sa YT lang din po ako nanonoud hahaha Limits, Discrete math, Stats and prob, then Calculus. Continue tayo!

I'm currently in g12 STEM, and I just realized i reaaally want to take BSCS, pero zero knowledge ako pagdating sa computer. As in zero. I think the most i can do is make a PPT and that's it :'D Nakaka-pressure lang kasi yung mga ka-batch ko na somewhat "tinagurian" na editors/ computer genius sa samin BSCS din kukunin. You could just basically start learning a programming language and explore the broadness of it, pwede ka magstart from web development, mobile development, or watever, basta makuha lang n'on interest mo at maenjoy mo.

Nagaalangan tuloy ako dito kahit dream course ko sya. My friend's mom said na wala akong patutunguhan pag eto yung kinuha kong course. Sayang daw talino ko, etc. valedictorian kasi ako nung jhs and with highest honor naman ako ngayong grade 12. Wala lang gusto ko lang maglabas ng sama ng loob at pakimotivate naman po ako hahahaaha

Ooohhhh marami HAHAHAHA. We hade to make a few text based games (some project some homework lang), this password encryption program, another game but with GUI this time, then we had this time complexity program that was supposed to measure the run time of algorithms... Mabigat HAHAHA

Gamit ka cp or papel it's not that big of a problem yet specially pag mag si simula ka palang ng 1st year. Note na di about programming focus ng computer science rather about solving problems, pero syempre need mo parin talaga sya pero pag learning hindi sya required and disadvantage nya lang is mahirap syang basahin pero atleast it works
