I wear a dragonfly necklace at work)as a tour director) and I have my guests and complete strangers come up and comment on it. I say my friend gave it to me and also share a couple random facts about dragonflies. Works great, but I never consciously thought of this as a social tactic.

Hi Vanessa. I'm an avid watcher of your KZfaq videos at your Science of People KZfaq channel. My primary goal is to improve my charisma and my interpersonal skills. You articulated that charisma is a combination of two essential people skills traits, warmth (being attractive, likeable and trustworthy) and competence (being dependable, capable and knowledgeable). You averred that a person is not considered charismatic if the person lacks one of the essential people skills traits. I was inquiring if you could make a KZfaq video on how to be exceptionally charismatic. I would highly appreciate that. Thank you for the work you put in enabling people to improve their interpersonal skills. Your videos have played a pivotal role in arousing my interest in communication (verbal and non-verbal) and enhancing my interpersonal skills. Keep up the magnificent work.

8. Take your nose off that screen and put down your cell phone, join the real world! 9. Be present! Make eye contact and hold that gaze for a second longer than you would normally do. 10. Smile ready? A slight smirk and the look away, projects confidence and intrigue. Nothing is more attractive than that!

How to be approachable as a woman: Throw the entire concept out the window and approach people instead. There's no reason why women need to wait around and be rescued. Go after what you want.

I dont care enough to approach people...its so much work to engage...I turn it on when I have to and shut down when I get at home...I got my core people and that's all i need...so exhausting we spend so much time learning how to make connections with people instead of the quality the work they do...what you teach seems so fake

This video was targeting women who want to be more approachable. Guys are horrible in that if a woman does the approaching, they go right to, "maybe she wants to get laid!" thinking.
